Whole House, Scenic Post and Beam Home Overlooking Canandaigua Lake! Sleeps 10

Host was very responsive and helpful. House was well stocked and comfortable. Good for our family of 6 for an extended stay.

This was a great space for visiting family over the holidays. Once the snow stopped, they plowed the driveway which was very helpful. We spoke with the hosts in advance about having our family join us for dinner/Christmas celebration and they were accommodating. Timely communication and would definitely stay again.

The home was perfect and as advertised! If the opportunity arises, I will stay here again!

We had a very comfortable stay at this lovely cottage that overlooks Lake Canandaigua. The property is well appointed and the bedrooms and linens are very nice. We had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. The spaces were super clean. We loved hanging out on the front porch.

This is a beautiful property. It is situated high on a hill, allowing for a view of the lake in the distance. The grounds are well kept & the house itself was very clean & comfortable. We warmed it up when we first got there since it was a little chilly & we were glad we had the gas fireplace running when the power went out. The outage affected several homes in the area. Fortunately, it was restored before it got dark. My family loved all the seating on the porch. My 10-year-old grandson came across a few golf balls, so we had an improvised golf game in the back yard using sticks he gathered. It was great fun. We truly enjoyed our get together here. It was the perfect place for creating special memories.

We were there for my son’s wedding. My other 3 adult kids and their partners stayed with us. The house was clean and cozy! We especially loved sitting on the front porch in the mornings all together, enjoying the beautiful scenery and just being together!!

This house was cozy and perfect for our wellness retreat getaway. Being originally from Michigan (and 2 MSU grads!) we were so excited to see some Spartan signage in the house.

The house was beautiful! The owners were very responsive to my questions. The area was peaceful and somewhat secluded yet close to downtown and the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit every night we were there. I would definitely recommend this rental. We had two older adults in our party who have difficulty with stairs so the main floor room was perfect for them. We also had an infant and there was a brand new pack and play provided which was wonderful. We also had a 7 year old and we loved running around in the big yard. This place was perfect :)

The house met all our needs - plenty of room inside and outside - we loved the porch and spent a lot of time out there. Plenty of outside area for our grandchildren to play baseball. It would have been nice to have the outside table and chairs on the porch. It would also be nice to have more lighting in the kitchen dining area and the sitting room.

We had a ladies weekend with 7 of us, the house had lots of room, cute space to hang out, a beautiful front porch, and overall we had a wonderful time here. Highly recommend!

We were in town for our mother's funeral and celebration of life, and we were looking for a place close to the lake. This property was absolutely perfect. We had a beautiful view of the lake from the front porch, which made the time spent there even more peaceful. After the funeral, we were able to host our family for lunch, and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other's company without feeling rushed. The property had everything we needed, it was spotless, easy to find and exactly as described in the listing. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Canandaigua.

Location, Views, beautiful home! 5 friends getting together for a long weekend…plenty of room, very clean, great view, quiet area, wonderful visit! Close to the lake, town, restaurant, wineries. The host communicated very well, before and checked in to make sure we were all set.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful rustic house overlooking Canandaigua Lake. The exposed beams and cozy atmosphere made it feel like the perfect retreat, while still offering all the modern amenities of home. Loved that it was dog-friendly, allowing us to bring our Golden retriever along for the adventure. The location is ideal, just a short drive from town and close to all the local activities, including wineries and breweries—perfect for exploring the Finger Lakes region. The peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views made it hard to leave! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with easy access to everything the area has to offer.

We had a group of 9 college friends come out for a weekend of golf. We had plenty of space for all of us. House was very spacious and easy for all of us to hang out in one space. Very short drives to multiple courses. Property managers were easy to get ahold of and very responsive. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was spacious and well-designed, with ample outdoor space and a large yard perfect for outdoor activities. The location was ideally situated in the Finger Lakes, allowing us to take day trips and explore the beautiful area.
