Stayed Oct 15, 2025When we first arrived it was dark and there were deer in the yard, we saw deer every day! It was so nice to see the wildlife. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house to as it was a short trip and our days were spent in Acadia and exploring. It was unfortunate we didn’t have more time to just relax at the house for a day or two because it was so quiet, relaxing and the lake view was beautiful!

Stayed Oct 23, 2025I had an amazing stay! The host was incredibly welcoming, and the home offered a peaceful atmosphere with stunning views of the nearby river and surrounding mountains on Mount Desert Island. The location was perfect, quiet and relaxing for a nice getaway and fairly close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, great scenery, and a friendly host!

Stayed Oct 10, 2025Amazing place! We love the views and the cleanliness. The place is well cared for and charming. Everything works as it should. We did laundry and dry out clothes. We used the fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for families or anyone looking for a place peaceful, quiet and bucolic.
