Ocean Front Cabins - Water & Mountain View, Brook - Near Acadia and Beaches

Come back every year. It’s still an awesome cabin and the setting there’s nothing better. Can’t wait to go back again. We build fires and roast hot dogs and marshmallows in the snow! Great cabin for kids. Warm and cozy.

It was our second time staying at this beautiful property. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation rental. Felt like a home away from home. Will definitely be back again!

This was our fourth stay at this property and we are returning again next year! Peaceful, relaxing, close to MDI and yet not too close, so you have space. It’s a special place.

Amazing place. All prior reviews were true, magical! Our adult kids took the main house and my husband and I slept in the cabin by the waters edge and views of Acadia mountains were perfect. Look up high & low tides if you want to kayak. Highly recommend staying here with your family! Would come back.

This place was fantastic. We were so immersed in nature and quiet it felt like we were deep in the woods. Only 15 minutes to Ellsworth, and 40 to Acadia. The cabin was great, and felt very rustic, but had all the amenities we needed. Wifi was solid which was good since the phone coverage was spotty. Total getaway, and we even saw deer in the driveway a couple of times.

We had a fabulous time here. The cabin was clean, well equipped and quiet. It was close to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but far enough away to provide the solitude we were looking for. We spent every day outside exploring the area. We canoed on the cove and fished at Lamoine State Park. Nate was easy to reach if needed, but we had no issues. We’d love to come back.

What a perfect location and home to base your trip to Maine. The location was quiet and peaceful, simply lovely. The owners were communicative and the home is super clean and cozy. We had the best time here and the cabin setting was like a dream.

We had a great stay at this cabin. Very private with excellent access to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Short drive to Ellsworth. The cabin was the perfect place for our stay. Host was very responsive as well. Would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was perfect for our family getaway with our dog. We loved our stay here and the property is beautiful.

The cabin and surrounding nature was the perfect serene escape for us. The floor plan allows for a sense of togetherness while still allowing for alone space. Hosts were very helpful and we hope to come back and stay here again.

Cozy, private, magical cabin in the woods. Lovely water view from the shore. Clean and comfortable home, we couldn’t have asked for more. Exceeded our expectations and Nate was a wonderful host.

Lost count of how many times we’ve stayed here. Our kids always want to come back. They beg to go outside which is amazing. Even in the winter. We found a great little family owned ski mountain that has lessons for the kids ands adults with great prices. Hermon Mountain Ski resort. About an hour away. Can’t wait to come back again.

From the woods all around and the water views to the cozy fire pit down by the water this place is special and I’m so glad we found it! It was beautiful inside and out!

Perfect cabin with views of the ocean inlet, the mountains in the distance, gorgeous trees, and the sound of a small creek in the back. Was a very easy drive from Acadia and Schoodic Peninsula. Easy access to shopping plazas and other amenities. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The host was awesome. They were prompt answering and addressing any questions we had. My family and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Nate was a fantastic host and we can’t possibly thank him enough for our wonderful stay! The property is a truly magical oasis and the photos do not do it justice. A peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Acadia and Bar Harbor, yet still close enough to enjoy both. We can’t wait to come back next year!

This was the third time we have stayed here. It is just as described. Love the location as you are close enough to MDI but can avoid the crowded areas if you so wish. We enjoy the house and location on the cove and it’s an easy drive to Schoodic Point and other locations outside of MDI.

What an incredible week we had!! The property was just beautiful with so many things we could enjoy as a family! I loved how clean and inviting the cabin was upon entry. We are a family of hikers and being so close to Acadia was perfect! A 20 min drive and we were near the park entrance. After a day of hiking, it was nice to just come back to what felt like home away from home. The supplies provided in the kitchen were perfect for all the cooking we did. Beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. Check in and out was simple. I’d HIGHLY recommend this cabin to anyone who would like a quiet getaway whether they stayed on site or wanted to explore the surrounding area. Thank you for a great stay. It was just what our family needed!

Soooooooooo relaxing

Cabins were nice. Good privacy, really cool spot for camp fires. Host did a great job thinking of the little things (flashlights, extra beach towels...). Kitchen was well stocked with whatever we needed for cooking, even had a spice rack. Served as a nice hub for vacation around Acadia National Park. Even though mid-June is not yet peak season, there were a lot of people in Acadia- at least the parts on Mount Desert Island. The Schoodic Peninsula district of Acadia was the best and there were a LOT less people.
