Waterfront Cottage with gorgeous sunset view

It’s a gorgeous property . The house is very nice and the view is amazing!

Well maintained and well equipped property. Enjoyed the welcome and participation feeling with invitation to water the plants and wash bed linens on departure. Quirky mix of furniture (including crystal chandelier and neon pink desk and side table) led to discussions of why? Somewhat remote, but not too far from Acadia National Park. Antique chairs in the bedrooms with a Do not sit plate made us wonder why the owner would put them out at all.

Immaculate home with outstanding views!

The house is located at the end of a driveway and as such offers great privacy. We have a view of the lake and can easily walk around the property area. The house was very clean and well maintained, and the property manager was easy to get in touch with. The check-in/out process was seamless. I ran along Seal Point Rd in the morning, without encountering almost any vehicles. Would recommend to someone who prefers privacy and having a place to themselves.

Beautiful property with great sunsets!

We have used VRBO numerous times, all over the country; this was truly one of the best ever! Beautiful surroundings, with all facilities and amenities needed. Acadia NP was about a half hour drive from the house - soo many things to see and Bar Harbor was quaint, with many fun shops and wonderful lobster restaurants. Our host was very amenable and great at communication. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home very peaceful retreat.

We loved staying at your lovely home. The view was beautiful, and so peaceful. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen/living room had everything we needed.

Beautiful property. Well appointed and spacious. Well furnished. Location worked well for us; some might find it too isolated. Good access to Acadia. Waterfront view and access varies significantly with changing tides. Be alert to wildlife.

Absolutely gorgeous property. Everything was provided. Loved the chairs on the point to watch the sunset. Less than 30 minutes to Arcadia and Bar Harbor. Beautiful scenic drive to those places.

House was beautiful and a perfect view!

Gorgeous sunset view is an accurate description for this wonderful home. The home is as described. The place was clean and beds were very comfortable. Communications with Andrea and Jen were easy and responded to quickly. Enjoyed whale watching and shopping in nearby Bar Harbor. Evenings filled with playing games around the dining table. I recommend this home for your next visit. There are stairs to get to the main living area if you have any mobility issues.

The house was lovely, but the star of the place was the amazing sunset views.

We spent 5 nights at the property during a family vacation to Acadia. The house was beautifully appointed with amazing views of the water. It was a perfect size for our family of 4. It was about 30 min or so to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We loved our stay and would surely stay again!

The property is on the water. It has a beautiful view. The property is very wooded and peaceful. Everything was accurate to the listing. The cottage was immaculately clean. We had a great time.

The VRBO was a very peaceful setting located on a peninsula. It was in a very quiet and secluded area. It is about 5 minuets to restaurants. The owners obviously care about their home. It has a wonderfully decorated interior and has sitting areas down by the water - in two different directions on the property. I think it was perfect for 2 couples - or a family with 2 or 3 kids. If we return to the area, we would certainly like to use it again.

We had a great time at this property. It was in a very nice and quiet location and close to nearby Lamoine beach area and the town of Ellsworth. We saw all kinds of wildlife on and around the property, including deer, fawns and baby turkeys. We visited Bar Harbor, Greenville, and many other nearby places.
