The 2-story house offers two sea view bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a spacious living-room and a well equipped kitchen. The rooms are large, furnished with the warm decor of family pieces. The place is enchanting: the woodland and its inhabitants will keep you company as you watch the tide and the sun setting.

It’s a gorgeous property . The house is very nice and the view is amazing!
Well maintained and well equipped property. Enjoyed the welcome and participation feeling with invitation to water the plants and wash bed linens on departure. Quirky mix of furniture (including crystal chandelier and neon pink desk and side table) led to discussions of why? Somewhat remote, but not too far from Acadia National Park. Antique chairs in the bedrooms with a Do not sit plate made us wonder why the owner would put them out at all.
This was a friends trip to get away and hike Acadia. The property was perfect! We loved the water all around the property and loved drinking coffee in the morning just looking out. This was perfect to unplug and unwind. My only wish was for a bigger tv so we could watch football. We had a great time!
The house was very nice and had gorgeous sunsets! It's in a great location away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to easily get to everything.
We had a great time on our east coast trip! The Sunset house is lovely and in a great location for visiting the area's beautiful sites! We would definitely stay there again!
Your home is beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. the property is idyllic - lots of trees, right on the water and beautiful sunsets. Loved coming back to relax after day trips to the beautiful Maine coast. thank you for sharing your home with us. Dianne and Howard
We loved every aspect of this home and hope to one day return.
This property was perfect for our stay in Maine. It was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to visit. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay!
My family and I are very grateful to have stayed in this home once again. Besides the soggy weather this trip, we had a wonderful stay. I threw on a rain coat, explored the grounds and relaxed in the chairs with my coffee. Even with all of the rain we still had the best time. Very peaceful and relaxing. Thank you to our hosts and to Jenn the care taker for the personal touches. :)
It was a great place. Would definitely rent again and would recommend this place to others.
The home is beautiful - exactly as described. The kitchen has everything you could want for your stay.
This place was everything we expected and more. Had the best weekend getaway! Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning in the future!!
We really enjoyed our stay. Bar Harbor and Acadia have a lot to offer, and the property was nice to come back to after a day of sightseeing. The views from the property were exceptional. Would stay again!
We came for the fall colors and to hike in Acadia. The house was just perfect for two couples. It was very quiet and had post card views of the lake and trees. The drive to Acadia was scenic. Everything was very clean and we were sad to leave. Communication was excellent with the caretaker.
This property sits on the coast where you get to experience the high and low tides every day. The sun sets over the water for wonderful views. It is far enough away from the tourist centered Bar Harbor, but not too far to drive and visit Acadia National Park. The seclusion makes the property feel very private and safe. The photos on the listing are not updated. The owners have upgraded some furniture which made for a pleasant surprise. The property and house are large enough that we didn't feel that we outgrew the living space during our 8 day stay.
A beautiful home in a very guiet, peaceful area. Very clean and accommodating. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor.
The home is beautiful and in a private quiet setting. After hiking and biking its a wonderful place to come back to and enjoy the sunset over the cove.
Great place, we truly enjoy staying at the house and visiting Acadia National Park. View from the deck is awesome. House is well equipped and very comfortable. About 30 minutes drive to the park, but it worth it.
My family and I enjoyed every second we spent at this home. Views were spectacular and the property is fun to explore. After busy afternoons around MDI it was refreshing coming back to a nice and quiet home each day! Great communication with home owner and care taker. Thank you for sharing your home!
Stayed with my husband and 9 year old daughter and we loved this house and the area so much my daughter cried when we had to leave. This house is so clean, bright, quiet and comfortable! We would definitely recommend this place.
Although the property is an hour away from the airport, it was perfect for us. We were only 40 min to Jordan pond in Acadia national park and also bar harbor. Going out on the island cruise in bass harbor was our favorite thing to do. The host told about the history, local culture and we saw and heard about the ocean creatures. We saw huge seals( and their babies), otters, bald eagle and other birds. We saw a salmon fish farm ( one of the largest in USA). Jen was very helpful on any questions we had. The home was lovely
