Waterfront Escape w/ Balcony on Shell Point Beach!

This is the ideal location for an isolated getaway. The location is right on the Gulf of Mexico , just South of Crawfordville. There is a Public beach within walking distance and there is your own private beach at your back door. There is a Boat Rental place within easy quick driving range just down the street.. The Condo is well equipped with all the comforts of home. All one needs do is bring in their own food. The fridge and cooking appliances are modern and clean. The bed is comfortable. The place is a nice Home away from Home. The host is very helpful and was able to quickly answer any and all questions that arose. I'd recommend this location for that special intimate escape.

What a great place! Clean, well stocked and a great little secret part of northern Florida. The owners were so inviting and sweet. Cannot say enough about the attention they give. It was nice to find all the little touches and conveniences. We look forward to coming back.

This beachfront getaway was a perfect place to set up camp while visiting our son at FSU for parents weekend. Communication with the property manager was fantastic and the check-in information was perfect to get us settled into this cozy townhouse for the weekend. The kitchen is well-appointed with granite countertops and stainless appliances and the decor is nautical and relaxing. The backsplash design in the bathrooms is especially interesting and well done. The bath towels provided were soft and white and appeared recently replaced. Cons: We found the beds in the place to be uncomfortable and the linens could use updating. The shower head is about a foot too low, the water pressure is poor and the shower curtain situation is wonky and missing several rings. The AC vents are dirty/rusty and we noticed the unit in the upstairs closet to be heavily corroded and full of lint. It’s unnerving to open closets to find them packed with construction materials and other belongings, so a locking door is recommended. The outdoor patio furnishings & decor are understandably corroded from the salt air but in need of some TLC. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to this property and the beachfront accommodations. We host a property ourselves & appreciate hearing both the positive and constructive feedback, so hopefully the information is found informative and useful. Thank you!

A very nice place to stay, quiet and peaceful. Wonderful view.

We needed a serious break with peace and quiet. This place was all that and more!!! Loved the balconies and the decor was so nice. We only left one day for awhile, but cooked in every night we were there. We probably saw less than 10 people on the whole beach the 4 days we were there. We definitely recommend this property if you need solace and time to relax.

My new wife and I enjoyed our quick little mini-moon. The accommodations were very nice and the view was priceless. Such a relaxing time. Would definitely return. And the bottle of champagne was an added touch of kindness.

This is a lovely home in a quiet, family oriented development. The house was clean, nicely furnished and stocked with everything we needed for cooking (including a grill), laundry and beach time. I like to enjoy the beach from under an umbrella but here, a palm tree provided plenty of shade. The water's edge is truly just a few steps from the house. We walked a couple of blocks to the bay side, seeing beautiful homes, boats and gardens. This area is apparently a fishing haven.The views from the decks were amazing! I spent a lot of time just sitting there reading, wine drinking, and watching sailboats, fishing boats and dolphins.The owner/POC (Toni) was so helpful, responding quickly to my calls and texts and even recruited neighbors to help with our questions about nearby dinner options. There are plenty of grocery options in nearby Crawfordville. We even found a meat market with beautiful filets! We drove to Wakulla Springs in less than 20 minutes where we had surprise visits from the manatees and were in Apalachicola in less than an hour for shopping, oysters and local craft beer. If you are looking for the high-rise condo Destin-like scene or close proximity to the clubs and amusement parks, this is NOT for you. Instead, this is the perfect, peaceful place to get away from all of that.I was sad to have to leave!

Everything was great. Easy communication, house was spic and span and had everything we needed for the week.Nice and quiet. We loved watching all the hermit crabs, birds, jumping fish and dolphins. Everyday was different. Love this house and location.

Very quiet clean and comfortable not your place if you are a in water person. Apparently there are water condition issues here frequently they are posted at the bathhouse. But for water view and relaxing cannot be beat.

If you want to experience the not-crazy, no-spring-break, non-tourist, side of Florida, this property is for you. The townhouse is right on the beach, and waking up to the quiet sound of waves breaking on the beach was so relaxing.The property itself is wonderful; clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. It is on a dead-end of a quiet street, sitting right on the beach. There are two decks to enjoy spectacular views of the ocean, the second floor off the main living area, and the third floor off the master bedroom. We loved having breakfast every morning on the deck overlooking the ocean.If you want peaceful vacation with a ton of nature-related activities, this is for you. My wife and I had a wonderful time of rest and recharging. Definitely would stay here again.

The condo is right beside water! The condo is up to date and decorated so perfectly. The master bedroom is large and bed is comfortable. Nice walk in shower. The pots and pans are in excellent condition and dishes are so pretty. It is probably the cleanest place we have ever rented! The host reached out to us on day one and was very attentive to all of our needs. We will definitely stay with this host again on our next trip to Shell Point, FL.

Everything we could ask for for a relaxing week at the beach. The condo is right at the water. You literally just walk down to it. The stars at night time is amazing. The condo was clean, with everything you need for cooking simple meals. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely people around too. The owner is super responsive to our questions. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitively come back if we are in the same area again!

This was our 3rd time staying at this house. We love the house and the area. This is not for you if you are looking for a party place. If you want to relax, it's just the place for you.

Perfectly home for a true beach getaway. Waking up to dolphins swimming by and lets not forget about the millions of stars that you can so brightly at night! House was decorated perfectly and had all the comforts of home plus more. Will definitely stay again!
