Stayed Dec 26, 2025My husband and I came from Chicago to spend some quality time with family. Unfortunately we only stayed for two nights but we truly enjoyed this beautiful cottage. It was very clean and nicely decorated, also well equipped, and the bed was so comfortable. We had the opportunity to meet the owner, David who was also very nice. Thank you, David. We will definitely come back soon.

Stayed May 5, 2023My family and I enjoyed our stay at the white squirrel cottage. David went out of his way to let my kids see the chickens and guinea hens on the property. The house is so cute and cozy. I loved waking up and relaxing on the back porch. If you're looking for a nice place that's only a 30 minute commute to Tallahassee, this is a great option!

Stayed Sep 23, 2022We were down for FSU family weekend so we didn't really spend much time at the property, just to sleep. But it was very comfortable and clean and other than not being sure where we were in the pitch dark(that's on us), it was a great stay.

Stayed Apr 5, 2022The cottage was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. It was easy to get to and ideally located for access to St Mark's National Wildlife Refuge, Wakulla Springs, a nearby golf course and other sites. Set in lovely grounds with the sights and sounds of wildlife, it was the perfect retreat for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Stayed Oct 1, 2021We stayed at White Squirrel Cottage during a weekend trip to Wakulla Springs. David is an A+ host. The property was clean, quiet, and well stocked. We even saw the white squirrels. Highly recommend this property if you want a quiet getaway!

Stayed Jul 24, 2021One of the few where as soon as you see it you understand it's going to be better than what you thought from the pictures. Very relaxing surroundings and 100% peace and quiet. Inside was well equipped and everything worked great. Best value we've had in a stay in a long long time and will def be back!

Stayed May 29, 2021The house is attached to the owners garage and house. We did not have very good water pressure with the shower. Other than that we had a very peaceful stay at the cottage:
