Walk to Shore: Freeport Beach House w/ Grill!

Excellent option! This is my second year going to Surfside, and this property was the best selection!

The view was very relaxing.

Great place just a few small details needed to be worked out. Garage cans were full when we arrived and also the grill needs a new cooking surface. The one that’s there was not the correct one. Overall a good time.

It was great visit we really enjoyed the location and the house was perfect size for us and location was great close to the beach and most stores ! Manager was friendly and kept up with great communication !

My family of 5 had plenty of room! We got lots of use out of the washer/dryer and the outdoor shower was a plus for rinsing off at the end of the day on the beach. I would recommend upgrading the coffee pot to a larger one or a keurig. Some of the kitchen utensils need an upgrade but overall we had everything we needed!

Really enjoyed our stay, walking distance from the beach. Would definitely return.

Thorougly enjoyed our stay. the house was so comfy and perfect for our needs. the location has great views of the beach and water. the driveway has ample space for our vehicles as well. the house is also very well insulated. we were not bothered with the noice of our nextdoor neighbors.

The posting emphasizes a grill, and when we arrived the one that is actually on site at this listing is comically small and unusable. I reached out to the owner to see if there was another one somewhere on the property but there wasn’t. Overall our stay was nice, and the house was plenty spacious for all of our friends. The biggest issue besides the grill was the lack of cooking utensils in the kitchen and a general quirkiness of the house itself. Birds seemed to be nesting within the subfloor and in the walls, making for some very loud and unexpected noises at dawn and dusk in the living room and one of the bathrooms. Additionally, the structural integrity of the house is a little concerning. One person walking on one side of the house can be felt by the sway of the entire structure on the other side.

We loved the porch and the location to the beach; however, we had quite a few issues. The sink was leaking the entire visit and created a big puddle the entire time. The filtered water system was also not working, so be sure to bring lots of bottled water as you do not want to drink or use the water from the sink for cooking. The kitchen was minimally stocked. No cookie sheets, no pot to boil water, not enough utensils, no wine bottle opener, and no kitchen sponge. Luckily we had a family member who came the next day and was able to bring these items. Not having a sponge made it difficult as there is no dishwasher. We did enjoy that each room had their own AC unit, it was very nice after a long and fun day at the beach.

Good location.

It was a nice property and easy to access. The rooms were cute, and each had its own air conditioner which made everyone happy. The only issue was no hot water, but we were offered a work-around. Also, the Blue Ray/DVD player didn't work very well.

It was so nice and SO CLOSE TO THE BEACH…. It Rained but we still had the BEST TIME…. Next year we know where we’re staying!!!!! Plenty of room and a deck facing the Beach was nice !!!

Excellent place to stay close to the beach, cold A/C, plenty of room under house for parking and hanging out, nice deck on upper floors, just a real nice stay and would absolutely rent again.

The property was clean and inviting. Plenty of room to relax. The view on the deck was beautiful. We were only 2 blocks from the ocean but could not access beach. There were huge rocks that we could not climb over. We had to drive to beach access but not far. Overall the property was great! I would definitely recommend!
