Stayed Nov 24, 2025Lovely location, close to shops and easy to get public transport from ferry terminal to house.Bedrooms were sufficient for our stay. The only thing is the beds are so uncomfortable, you are fighting to get away from the springs in both beds, might need new mattress's. I am not how long the house had been locked up, but smelt of mildew which didnt help the asthma.No air conditioning in the house and when we were on the island it was apparently the hottest week, portable fans didnt do it, we had to clean the fans to get some better traction from them.The host i must say was very accommodating to us, as we had travelled from overseas and very tired when we arrived. I believe its more than 20 steps to the beach, but very welcoming on those hot days. In all communication was fablous, location fabulous, island fablous, maybe just new mattress needed.

Stayed Feb 28, 2025The check in process was terrible, u download another app not Bookabach for it to tell you that you will have an email.The email isn't from Bookabach or the app it's direct from the bach owner so finding it is hard work in itself. But that isn't the reason for the rating.The house is quite old so there was a fair few notes about not being able to open windows or blinds.No small kitchen rubbish bin inside. Only fans so it gets very hot also no hose for washing off your sandy feet after going to the beach.We are so used to having a place with some body wash so we got caught out luckily the diary is walking distance and beach was walking distance also.Don't recommend swimming at this beach as there is heaps of seaweed. Good location for what we needed as we had family with a vehicle, great deck area.Very clean house just the old bones need a bit of work if new people keep coming into home.
