Modern, large, open plan 1 bedroom apartment

The apartment was spacious and spotless and the hosts were friendly and caring. It was well appointed and had great amenities making this a very comfortable stay. The only downside was the very intermittent access to the internet, but on the island - I could live with that.

The stay exceeded our expectations. Was bright,warm,and a beautiful place. Very convenient to shops and amenities. Looking forward to staying there again.

Lovely spot, very spacious and well equipped. Host was accommodating and available. View was great and in a central spot on the island so easy to get around.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Surfdale Apartment. So modern and so very spacious. We were over on Waiheke for a family wedding which was only 10mins drive away. It’s only a few minutes walk to the Surfdale Shops which provided us with all we needed. A short walk down to the beach, connecting to the esplanade walk around to the next bay. The yoghurt and granola left for our breakfast was unexpected but greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend this as a great stay when visiting the island.

Apartment is spacious, modern and has a lovely indoor outdoor flow plus private spa pool. Great for relaxing but main bedroom backs onto busy Rd. Our hire car was important to get around the island to the nice beeches etc…. The apartment was a good base but quite expensive.

My wife and I would stay here again. The pictures did not do this place justice for the room and views we had. Please add a photo of the roof top area as this is a winner. This is a large apartment with a small bedroom but large open plan living space. I have only marked down a few areas as per the rating questions asked. We never saw the property manager but didn't need to. They left us to ourselves and we had no issues. The Weber BBQ on the rooftop was actually very dirty and needed a good clean and a burn off afterwards which I did, but may have just been an oversight. A little maintenance and care here would be good, but didn't detract from the cleanliness of the rest of the apartment. Small fridge/freezer tray for anyone staying a length of time, but given the layout not much can be done here, and the bathroom is small but completely functional, and again not much can be done about the layout. Overall this place did exceed our expectations.

The property was very clean and well presented. The deck on a nice day or evening is a great place to chill out with the spa pool, or to enjoy a beer or wine, a BBQ and the view was lovely. Easy walking distance to restaurants / bars and a convenience store. Would definitely book here without hesitation if visiting Waiheke again.
