Vintage Charm right on the Beach!

Had some amazing island time! The beach house was perfect for the 3 of us. Sunrises were spectacular! It’s a trip to remember.

Cant say enough howmuch we enjoyed our stay, its everything that the description says and more, we will be back. The photo of the sunrise is from the deck overlooking the ocean

The location was great. The house was comfortable, well furnished and had plenty of TV’s. Easy check-in and house rules were reasonable. I would recommend Sound Waves to a friend.

Beautiful and perfect location

Had a really great stay here. House was newly remodeled and clean. The view from the awesome deck is the best! We will stay here again.

UReally enjoyed the entire time atthe house sand and sea, would suggest though, that it’s made clear about linens as some where it said all rentals in surfside do not include linens.also on the site check in says the key was sent in the morning of stay but really it’s two hours before check in at 4 pm,, it also says drop the key off at the rental office, but it’s electronic! So I was concerned about that and had to bug the office! It all worked out great but I just thought I’d say, we are hoping to book again later in the summer , not sure of dates but checking with family,, thanks Donna felicity and family

I’ve thought long about posting this review but I feel that other guests should know. We checked in on a Friday evening for 7 days. We were making dinner on the stove and a roach ran out and we killed it. Then we started seeing more and more. In the kitchen, by the couches, bedrooms, bathrooms and crawling on the floors. They were everywhere. We could no longer stay there but couldn’t get a new place next door until Sunday on Vrbo. I let the property contact, Donna, know on Friday night right after we arrived and she said she was sorry and they had just exterminated. I told her I found another place but couldn’t check out until Sunday. She asked if we would like the place exterminated again, I declined. She agreed that we could check out and she would take care of it and charged us for the two days and refunded the rest of the trip. She also told me to call the management company. I did and they said that they had the house treated 4 times in the last month. We were not comfortable staying in the house Saturday night and stayed with my sister. The air conditioning was also not the best, it took forever to get to 77 at the coolest. They did provide a fan in the master bedroom. While we were staying at the house down the street we saw the exterminator there spraying. So hopefully the situation is fixed now. She did work with us and try to make it right.

House is as advertised. The stove was not working but a call to mgt. and a service tech was on it and made the repair. House could use a little paint and fixing up in places but very livable, and clean. Don’t hesitate to book, we would stay here again.

We had a wedding in Galveston to attend so we decided to make it a vacation with 2 other couples. We were so pleased with the location and the house was everything we needed.

It's a tradition every year we start our summer at the beach. We have rented this particular house before and we try and book it every year we plan our vacation. I love the house we stay at and we make great memories every year we go! We will definitely book again next summer!! Thank you for having us!
