Summary:

Sunlight floods the open living spaces while you sip morning coffee in this updated home in historic Grace Tract neighborhood in Santa Rosa. Gather on the private patio under mature shade trees, or fire up the gas grill for dinner al fresco. Your group of 4 enjoys modern comforts in a quiet residential neighborhood. Just 0.2 miles to Willi's Wine Bar and Pacific Market, with Russian River Valley wineries 15 minutes west. The perfect balance of neighborhood charm and wine country access awaits.

The Space:

Spend mornings on the patio as the valley wakes up, afternoons among the tasting rooms or hiking Sugarloaf Ridge, and evenings around the firepit with a bottle from the day's barrel visits.

The living room bathes in natural light. Sink into the navy sofa before the fireplace and the 54-inch TV — built-in shelves hold board games, crown molding adds classic detail. A central island with cooktop sits beneath a pot rack at the heart of the open kitchen, with white cabinetry, granite counters, and a French door fridge alongside — proper home cooking for a Santa Rosa weekend. The dining table sets six just beside it.

OUTDOOR LIVING

Your private backyard awaits through sliding doors. Wicker furniture sits beneath a market umbrella on the patio. A manicured lawn stretches under mature shade trees, enclosed by wood fencing. Fire up the gas grill for evening barbecues while kids play on the grass.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

The master holds a king bed with built-in wardrobes and windows overlooking the backyard, with an en-suite walk-in shower. The second bedroom offers a queen bed with built-in storage and a guest bath with tub/shower nearby. A queen sofa bed in the living room provides additional sleeping. Sleeps 4.

-- High-speed internet (511 Mbps)

Guest Access:

Step out to a private backyard under a mature shade tree, then come inside to a bright Santa Rosa cottage with a granite kitchen island and a pot rack overhead. You've got the whole home, with an enclosed yard, garden views, and outdoor seating out back. Punch in the keypad code at the door; two cars park in tandem in front of the garage on either side of the redwood tree.

The Neighborhood:

You've landed in a leafy residential pocket of Santa Rosa where neighbors wave hello and mature trees shade quiet streets. Walk just 0.2 miles to Willi's Wine Bar for their famous small plates, or grab groceries at Pacific Market the same distance away. Sandy's Take & Bake Pizza (0.2 mi) makes dinner easy after a day of wine tasting.

Coffee lovers start mornings at CUPPA (0.2 mi) before exploring. For a special meal, Hank's Creekside Restaurant (0.6 mi) delivers farm-to-table excellence. Stock up on supplies at Safeway (0.4 mi) or find deals at Grocery Outlet (0.6 mi).

Triangle Park sits just 0.1 mile away for morning jogs, while families love nearby Doyle Community Park (0.9 mi) with its playgrounds and sports fields. The Russian River Valley wine region begins 15 minutes west, while downtown Santa Rosa's Courthouse Square is a quick drive for the Wednesday Night Market (May-August) and year-round dining scene.

Getting Around:

Santa Rosa is about 55 minutes from San Francisco via US-101 North — an easy freeway drive into the heart of Sonoma County. Your dedicated parking accommodates 2 vehicles in tandem formation — park in front of the garage on either side of the redwood tree. Santa Rosa is a natural hub for exploring Sonoma County — most of the region is within a 30-minute drive.

Other Things to Note:

The home stays naturally cool thanks to mature shade trees and cross-ventilation through multiple windows — you'll find the temperature comfortable even without air conditioning. Your high-speed internet (511 Mbps) easily handles remote work and streaming. The primary renter must be 25 or older. Take advantage of the gas grill on the patio — nothing beats a barbecue under the stars after a day of wine tasting. The washer and dryer are available for your use, perfect for longer stays. Quiet hours are observed between 9 PM and 8 AM in this residential neighborhood. The sofa bed in the living room provides flexible sleeping arrangements for your group. Don't miss the built-in games in the living room shelves for family game nights!

The home is very comfortable and located in a lovely quiet neighborhood. For those who love to cook, the condiments are minimal. Other than salt and pepper and used olive oil left behind by other renters, the kitchen has sparse supplies down to supplying cleaning supplies such as dish soap and disheashing detergent. Other than that, the home was comfortable and clean.

We have stayed at this house a number of times, and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s very clean, comfortable, and close to where our family lives. The only minor complaint this visit was that we were there for 10 days, but no landscaper came during that time, so the backyard was full of leaves. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

Three issues:1) coffee pot did not work. 2) sprinkler in front yard (between driveway and front door) does not retract below ground. Tripped twice carrying luggage. 3) front door directions need to be revised.

I recently stayed at this property with my family of 4 and had a wonderful experience. The home is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making it a perfect retreat. The highlight for me was the backyard—it's not only beautifully designed but also equipped with everything you need, including a BBQ and comfortable furniture. The yard is cool and serene, offering a peaceful escape. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. Overall, this place offers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The wifi was fast. Outdoor area was really nice. We sat outside with a glass of wine both nights of our stay. Private, no bugs, enough shade. Master bedroom was large and had a comfortable king size bed. The second bedroom had a queen. The house was a little warm when we arrived but the nest thermostat was easy to opperate. The hot water took some time to warm up but then provided plenty of warm water for showers.

Four women in town for a soccer tournament shared this delightful house. We all commented on the charming features of the house-the old style built in cupboards, closets and nooks-mixed with the updated kitchen complete with modern appliances, dishes, cooking implements, etc., and the convenient washer and dryer in the garage. Back yard was shaded by trees part of the day and offered a relaxing atmosphere.
