Nice place, well equipped with spectacular views. Remote and off grid. Allow for time in car required to explore island, including daily mountain-driving commute to access main road. Need to watch small children and headlamps were recommended for night time.

The view is beyond incredible, however we struggled with lack of hot water (you have to wait for it for 5 minutes and then it would last for 3 minutes) so it was impossible to take hot shower and we had to heat water on the stove and in the kettle - old fashion way. It was a bit cold inside in April. The new addition to the original house (kitchen with the grill, sunroom with the huge ottaman)

The steps from the parking lot to the front door are a challenge, but I’m 70 and I did it. The reward is an experience you will never duplicate anywhere else. The waves crash against the shore 10 feet from your head as you lay in bed. Sounds trite, but you are truly one with nature. There is no one else around. Just you. If you are looking for a quiet place by the sea to get away from it all and recharge your batteries, this is the ideal spot! It's truly magical to stay so close to the sea and wake up to the sunrise over the ocean. The house is remote but the size of the island allows you to explore the whole island from there.
