Stayed Sep 11, 2025We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated home in Nordeste. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into every detail of the property. The outdoor space is truly incredible — spacious, peaceful, with breathtaking views and beautiful sunrises!The host, Vera, was exceptionally responsive and welcoming. We were greeted with a generous welcome package that included delicious local wine, cheese, snacks, and coffee — such a thoughtful touch that made us feel instantly at home.Inside, the home was spotless and tastefully furnished. All the linens and towels were of very high quality, which added to the overall sense of comfort and luxury. We also really appreciated the separate laundry and drying area.The location was great for exploring the northeast region of Sao Miguel. Restaurants in Nordeste were about 5 minutes drive and markets in Lomba da Fazenda were also close by. The home is close to Ribeira dos Caldeiroes park (where we arranged a canyoning excursion), Poço Azul, Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego as well as Arnel Lighthouse.Highly recommend and would love to return!
