Unbelievable star gazing, awesome views. Great place for social distancing

We had a great stay with our dog! Lovely property, spacious, with gorgeous views. The stargazing is fantastic. We even got to watch the meteor shower.

We booked this home for a last-minute stargazing trip. The skies did not disappoint! Millions of stars in the inky black sky. The mountain views were equally spectacular. The natural beauty and the clean, crisp air provided a wonderful reset to the nervous system. We particularly appreciated being able to pack up the dogs and bring them with us. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with everything we needed for meals while we were there. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are older but were all very clean. I will say that my dogs were picking up scents from other dogs in the carpeted areas of the house that I could not smell, especially along the baseboards and corners of the furniture. Thankfully we thought to use belly bands to keep them from marking inside. Guests should be aware that you have to drive on dirt and gravel roads to get to the property and stairs are required to get into the house and to access all but one bedroom and bath. The nearest grocery store is 20 minutes away so plan accordingly. We would gladly stay at this property again!

Awesome location. Beautiful night sky. Upstairs had windows and a small balcony. Downstairs had the star gazing room with a door to the back patio. The custom bartop is gorgeous. We ate in a bit and also supported the local economy by shopping, buying food, and trying local restaurants. We liked Stage Stop for brunch and can eat for about 10 per person. ... well, I got a foo foo drink and cinnamon roll, but the food was under 10.

This house was clean, comfortable, and full of amazing views! Melissa was so helpful in answering all our questions, and we were able to get the dogs away from NYE fireworks for the evening. It was a fabulous night away!

We had such a great time during our stay. The place has plenty of space and we got to watch deer right outside in the back yard. My little niece loved that. The Host was also VERY nice and helpful with any questions we had about the mountain area. I would 1000% stay there again and recommend.

This was perfect for us. The views were amazing. The neighborhood was quiet and spread out so it fell very private. The wildlife was abundant and entertaining. Everything we needed was available at the property. There was plenty to do in the area. We were very happy with this location!!

The views from this home, both day and night, are absolutely outstanding! The house is very clean, the kitchen well stocked, and the bed’s very comfortable. Just 16 minutes from Westcliffe, this house is perfect for star gazing, leaf peeping, and enjoying festivals and special town events.

We've stayed here before and loved it, so we brought our family this time and it was absolutely wonderful. We had a few clear nights for stargazing and the views were gorgeous as ever.

Excellent property, fabulous host, & breathtaking stargazing!!!

We stayed here to do some amateur astronomy and the location is perfect with dark skies and a wide horizon to work with. The house is spacious and has many nice places to hang out. The deck in the back is great and I hope we're able to stay here again during the summer to enjoy it more.

The house was perfect and luckily even with the cold weather it would clear up at night and it was amazing view. We also got to see the planets align. Definitely the spot for comfort and views for sure.

This is the first time traveling with our small Shih Tzus. The house is perfect and very spacious for a getaway. We enjoyed watching the deer, clear night skies and 360 mountain views. I had apprehensions about taking my dogs and staying at a pet friendly house. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and fresh everything was.The house was equipped to handle my Shih Tzus and home cooked meals. We look forward to staying there again.

The house was great. Beautiful views and amazing stars could be seen each night. Internet and RV worked well. The upstairs bath we used worked great too. Nice place to eat breakfast each morning. The storm front door was blown open if not shut tightly, but not a big deal.

Dana and I LOVE the Country and this VRBO is set in a beautiful location with breathtaking views - and in the evening you can see stars that you just don't see anywhere (unless you are in the Country)... The Home is awesome - really a nice place!! Check-in was easy as was Check-out -- We are building in Westcliffe - and the other VRBO that we rented before was booked -- and I'm really glad it was - because it was inside the town and I would much rather be outside the town -- I give this place a 10 out of 10 -- We will rent this again - we visit every three to four weeks... Beautiful well equipped house with amazing views. Enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay greatly. The reception for cell phones was a little tricky which made it a little difficult to communicate hence my 4 star rating instead of 5, but this can also be a plus for those who really want to get away! Stargazing was amazing as was the weather!

Came for the dark skies. Got cloudy but we were able to see some shooting stars!

Just what we needed. Beautiful views and it's away from the madness of everyday life. I would highly recommend this place.
