Stayed Mar 23, 2026My sister and I enjoyed the peace and solitude this property offered. The property was exactly as advertised, and the host was quick to respond. The house is dated but kitchen is stocked with any cooking utensil you could need. Property is easy to get to and a trailhead is a very short walk from the property. 6 miles to town is also a plus. Only concern we had was the deck stairs and some of the railing. The 4 stairs were narrow and somewhat wobbly so someone with mobility issues, needs to be cautious. Also, a vertical rail came loose when I was leaning on the top rail so could be hazard to a child or pet. Otherwise, we would definitely consider coming back to this property. It is a lot of house for the cost so quite economical.

Stayed Sep 26, 2025We had a wonderful stay over the weekend while exploring the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. The cabin’s location was perfect, just minutes from the trailheads and only a short 10–15 minute drive into town.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, which made everything seamless.The cabin itself was spotless and so well-stocked. It had everything we needed: TV, internet, music, and a fully equipped kitchen, which made it feel like home right away.If we plan another trip to the Sangre de Cristo area, we’d be delighted to stay here again.Thank you for such a great experience!

Stayed Aug 1, 2025Everything was fantastic, from the original booking all the way to check out. We had to make a change in who was attending, Robert’s response was timely and friendly. The house was comfortable and beautiful, well appointed, WiFi access was good. Plenty of dishes, utensils, etc; may not seem like a big deal, but it is. The area is gorgeous and private.
