Stayed Jun 23, 2025We enjoyed our stay and it was set up well! Having direct access to the Little Platte Lake and ability to rent a boat to go fishing was an added bonus. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Jul 4, 2025We spent the 4th of July weekend at the Loon and it was an amazing experience. The camper is big enough to accommodate four adults. The indoor and outdoor kitchen allowed us to cook from scratch for multiple meals. The kitchen comes with pretty much any tool that you can think of. We spent a whole day at the lake kayaking and boating. Gus was very helpful and patient in teaching us how to use the boat motor. There were a pair of loons and a swan couple living in the lake with baby swans. The location is great and close enough to Frankfort so we visited the town and spent some time by the beach. Kelly, the host, was super courteous and responded to a call from us very timely, even though it was already pretty late at night.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024We really enjoyed our stay at Twin Loon Resort. The setting is beautiful, quiet and serene. We stayed at The Loon, a nicely equipped and permantely set RV with a wrap around deck, but there are other cabins at the resort of you prefer being in a house. The RV was very spacious, clean and modern and equipped with everything you would need. The property owners thought of every little detail, so the RV is well equipped and cozy and exceeded our expectations. There's good mobile phone signal, wi-fi and 2 TVs with Rokus so you can stay connected. Communication with owners before-hand and upon arrival, check-in was a breeze. The setting couldn't be more ideal, with a gorgeous lake to look over, outdoor Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, a grill and front door parking. There's a dock with row boats and kayaks that we really enjoyed using for free. If you're looking for swimming in the lake, this probably isn't the ideal lake for that because there are a lot of Lilly pads and algae, but a great fishing spot and plenty to explore around the lake. Other than that, the resort is about 10 minutes away from Beulah where there are great food options and 20 minutes away from Frankfort on Lake Michigan and many other outdoor activities in the area. We'll be back soon.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969What a pleasure it was to stay at such a lovely peaceful place! The outdoor deck and additional outdoor kitchen are so nice to have available. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck looking out at the lake. The boats and dock provided are an excellent addition as well. Easy to access, and kept clean and in great condition. Everything we needed was provided, and the camper was exceptionally clean and everything was in great working order. I cannot wait to return!

Stayed Jun 14, 2024Great Stay for 2 nights in mid June weekend! Booked with trepidation this RV site, not having lived in RV before but tremendously enjoyed the stay with family of four in this super location at a height over the lake with a nice view out of the RV master room windows and also from one of the bunk beds. The property manager Kelly was nice too. Having kayaks just down the ramp available allowed good use of exploring the lake at all hours
