The Tree House in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park

The property was very spacious and definitely made you feel like you were up in the trees and forest! The amenities were perfect, everything thought of that we would possibly need. We had a wonderful time with family hanging out in the Great Room, kitchen, and dining table. We enjoyed the fire pit, exploring the woods, enjoying nature by the pond, and, of course the spacious hot tub! The bunkhouse was prefect to give some of the kids their own getaway/privacy feel, also. Finally, Casey was so nice, prompt, and helpful with all of my questions. Thanks so much! Our family really enjoyed it!

Our stay at your treehouse rental in New River Gorge was absolutely amazing. The home was incredibly clean, and the online pictures truly did not do it justice. We enjoyed every aspect of the property.The location was excellent as well — it was close to restaurants, the national park, and the state parks, and everything was within a convenient driving distance. We especially enjoyed the fire pit. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub, our overall experience was wonderful.The only minor issue we had was with the TV in the bedroom. It would have been nice to watch a local channel in the evening before going to sleep, since we usually like to turn on the news, but the streaming seemed to cut out when we tried to use it.Other than that small quirk, everything was absolutely fantastic. We would definitely rent this home again. We also loved how spacious it felt — even while sharing it with another couple, it felt like each of us had our own private space. We really can’t say enough good things about our stay.

Awesome place!

What a great house. They truly went above and beyond. All 8 of us enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this place to others. The craftsmanship is like none other. The host was great. Left us an extra tank of propane and a couple bundles of wood.

The Tree House was a great fall break for our family! We enjoyed the hiking trails on the rim of the canyon from our back door as well as the proximity to adventures such as rafting, hiking trails, and zip lining. We wish we could have stayed longer! It was so nice to relax in the hot tub or on the porch swing with a good book and enjoy the peace and the trees.

This cabin is even nicer in person than the pictures! Gorgeous - wonderful finishings, very clean, and nice touches. Incredibly peaceful, set back off a private/gated street. And communication with the owner was superb. I’ll will definitely rent the Treehouse again!

If we are lucky enough to return, we will certainly book this property!It was beautifully appointed in every way.It was so clean that we were 100% impressed.The security of the property is great and the property itself is beautiful outside and in.This is perfect for adults in main home and responsible younger folks in the bunk house!The hot tub was perfect after a long day of white water rafting! Book it! Fast!

Wonderful house with all of the amenities that we expected. The location is ideal. Close to Fayetteville for dining and shopping, but in a remote area with walk-out access to hiking trails.

The whole cabin was simply done, yet exquisite! Impressive touches with the fully stocked gourmet kitchen & beverage bar.Very much appreciated that everything was supplied! When we opened the front door of The Tree House we were wowed by the great room and kitchen; and surrounding balconies to take in views of tree tops of the New River Gorge National Park. We have never encountered a rental home stocked with all the cookware, bakeware, utensils and gadgets to make amazing family meals. Laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher pods, tissues, paper towels and TP are readily available.This house is extremely clean and appears to be fairly new with updated appliances. An added plus, a coffee bar and beverage fridge.The furnishings are beautiful and top quality, including the mattresses. Not an uncomfortable seat in the house. Surrounded by woods and not one spider or cob web to found. Wendy and Casey were spot on with recommendations to ensure a memorable vacation and responded to text messages and phone calls immediately.

This was by far the nicest, most well equipped vrbo yet. We were blown away. We will definitely be renting here again.More then enough utensils. The knives were sharp and plenty to meet evey cooking need. Pots, dishes cooking vessels. And the beds were so comfortable. My neixe loved sleeping in the porch bed swing.

This was our second stqy with extended family at the house. It’s very well equipped for cooking and for young children and well stocked with extra towels, pillows and cleaning supplies. My 82 year old mother loves the hot tub. Plenty of seating for meals. Love the porch swing! Great family time around the fire pit.

This was an ideal place for our group to stay for a few days while we explored the New River Gorge and surrounding area. Very close to the National Park and to Fayetteville, WV. Beautiful hiking path that goes right by the house and stretches along a ridge with excellent views of the bridge. The house itself is contemporary and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating areas and the screened porches. We will definitely stay here again.

The Treehouse is very well maintained and clean, newer construction (I'd estimate only 10-15 years old), and well appointed. Communication with the host was easy via phone and VRBO chat. Would stay again if in the area.

Great location and amenities

We had a wonderful time at the Treehouse! We were two families, with a total of 4 kids under 5. The house was perfect for us-- lots of room, safe for kids, well equipped with supplies. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We loved that we could take the kids for a hike just by walking out our front door! Highly recommend-- we will likely be coming back next summer!

We came to WV for a retirement getaway with my family. The place is very spacious, clean, and has all the amenities one would want or need when traveling. The home is located about 10 minutes outside of town, tucked away in a very secure and quiet location. Wonderful proximity to trails. Our family really enjoyed the stay. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving! The kitchen was amazingly appointed, especially for a holiday meal. Just about every kitchen gadget you’d ever need! The separate bunk house was great for our group of varying ages and schedules. We loved the outdoor space even in the cold and even used the hiking trails some! Thank you for a wonderful stay - we hope to stay again!

This was the first time in three years our entire friend group was able to gather in one place. The property was perfect for the size of our group and fit our needs perfectly. It came just as advertised and did not disappoint. With his great news and overall cleanliness, this place was the perfect place to stay.

Great location and facilities

We’ve stayed in at least a dozen VRBO homes through the years … Wyoming, South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, and multiple places in Maine and Vermont. All were very nice. But seriously, this home topped them all. Location? Fabulous. Close to everything we wanted to do yet extremely private and in a gated community. We had 7 adults and 3 children, and there was ample room in all areas for everyone. It was spotless, and it is stocked with everything you can think of and then some. Large master suites plus the bunkhouse was perfect for the kids and their parents. It too had a kitchenette and bathroom. The kids ran around in the woods outside and enjoyed the fire pit several times. We were there during peak leaf season in late October, and it feels like you’re in a treehouse when sitting in the main living area or on any of the large back decks. Communication with the property manager was always prompt, professional, friendly and helpful. We all felt it was worth the price and will definitely rebook should we want to visit this part of West Virginia again!

We were thrilled with the location for this VRBO for Bridge Day but even more for the design, comfort, layout and attention to details that this home had to offer! Truly a gem and HIGHLY recommend if looking for a place to stay in the area. Beautiful setting and loved the separation of the bunkhouse (2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom) from the main house (2 primary suites). The teens loved having their own space!!

This was our family get together for my oldest grand daughters 20th birthday. This beautiful home/area was everything we could have asked for. The weather was rainy and colder but we had an absolute blast. We are already talking about our return trip and im planning on a trip with my two besties as well!! Thank you for such a lovely get away.

The Tree House is hands-down the best VRBO I’ve stayed at. Every member of our family of 5 adults & 2 children enjoyed our stay. The 2 buildings were perfect for our group; the older ones stayed in the main house while the bungalow was perfect for the family with the children. The separate quarters allowed for the littles to get to sleep without the older ones waking them up. The living quarters were tastefully & comfortably decorated. It was warm for our early October visit, so we used the beautiful gas fireplace sparingly, but it added ambience to the living room. The entire house was very clean. The kitchen was completely appointed with up-to-date appliances, plenty of silverware and utensils, dishware (even kid plates) and ample glasses, wines, cups and linens. The coffee bar was great for single serves or a pot of coffee. The bedrooms and baths were comfortable and well equipped. The bathrooms were clean and having the bath gel, shampoo and conditioner supplied was a thoughtful add. The outside areas were very nice; we enjoyed sitting on the decks, reading & relaxing. The swinging outdoor daybed was perfect for afternoon catnaps. The hot tub was clean & easy to use; it felt good after a hike in the park. We also enjoyed using the fire pit where we roasted marshmallows. While preparing for the fire, we even saw a deer by the pond! Communications with Wendy were perfect. She went so far as to retrieve some forgotten items for us! We appreciated her 100%!

This rental was perfect. It was immaculate, beautiful woods views, equipped with everything we needed, and located right on the New River Gorge close to hiking and outdoor activities. There was a network of hiking trails around the development and we hiked to the end where there was a firepit and a beautiful view of the gorge.

Our family of 8 adults and 1 toddler had a wonderful stay at the Tree House. It was the perfect location near Adventures on the Gorge, hiking, and restaurants in Fayetteville. The house had everything we needed. We highly recommend
