Our only thing with this place is the water has an eggy smell to it. Everything else is great.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a small get-together at this house with some friends. It was clean on arrival, AC was on, and toilet paper out front for us. What I can really appreciate was that there was not a long to-do list or a list of rules when you first walk in. Easy in, easy out. Not far from Petoskey at all, lake was really warm, no light pollution at all from the neighbors to enjoy the stars, fire pit was good to go, plenty of seating around it. There was coffee and spices provided, plenty of cookware. I think the only complaint I heard was the sulfur smell of the water.

Stayed Jul 12, 2024This is a great place to stay to enjoy the inland waterway. Very quiet lake and can watch the sunset from the middle of the lake. We took the inland waterway to the Cheboygan river and had a few great days of boat trips from this location.

Stayed Aug 4, 2023We really enjoyed our stay, Kayaked, paddle boarded, floated on the water, It was very peaceful. We did bring a memory foam mattress topper because we remembered from last year the bed feeling pretty firm and that helped a lot. The house was well stocked with what you need in the kitchen, except for a frying pan - a quick text to the property manager resolved the issue immediately. i highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Stayed Aug 13, 2022We had a great time staying in this cottage. The cottage is very well stocked and equipped. The owners have thought of everything. We enjoyed the lake, the fire pit and the nice deck. It was an added benefit that our dog Moxie could join us on our summer vacation. Overall a great getaway.

Stayed Aug 6, 2022Wonderful place for a family vacation. The house was very clean and stocked. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, which was clear and seaweed free. The lake is pretty quiet and the views are beautiful. Downtown Petoskey is only 15-20 min away. We will definitely be back!

Stayed Jul 30, 2022Very clean home in a very quiet neighborhood. The back was a plus with tons of open land so there were lots of deer to look. The fire pit was very large and peaceful to sit around looking out at the lake.
