This home was so perfect for our stay in Alanson. Jeremy has gone above and beyond normal VRBO standards to ensure his guests have amazing amenities when they arrive including coffee, water, bath products, etc. We are thankful for the chance to enjoy their amazing home.

Our stay was excellent and far beyond our expectations! The cottage decor is beautiful and the amenities were a pleasant surprise. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a 3 bedroom rental. The North Western State Trail is 2 minutes from the house, making for a scenic walk or bicycle ride into Alanson, Petoskey or Harbor Springs.

A beautiful place to stay, well thought out, has all the amenities you need. The kitchen was well stocked for home cooking and grilling. The space is great for family fun and relaxing after a day out and about.

Great accommodations! Loved the layout. A little bit of a drive to activities.

Girls weekend with friends and my dachshund Bertie. Beautiful area, nice neighbors and an incredible house to curl up and relax. Don’t bring any supplies…the house is fully stocked. We look forqrd to coming back soon.

We had a great stay! We are lucky to have good friends in the area, so we were afforded the local experience. I highly recommend chatting with neighbors when you stay here. They’re lovely!

Great place for the family! House was clean and had everything we needed. Host was quick to answer questions. Best of part was the well kept private backyard. Neighbors are nice too!

This was a girls weekend away with an elementary school friend. We were going to Mackinac Island, Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Such a perfect location. We also had time for Charlevoix. All beautiful areas. As far as the property, not sure what else we could have asked for. The Crooked Cottage is set up for anything you may need. Just bring your personal hygiene items (some provided), clothes and whatever food you may want to fix. You will find all kitchen items you need, barware in the dining room, games galore, books, outdoor firepit, hammock. This place has got you set up from the first step in the door. Which is the spacious laundry room, so you can take off your shoes. There are dog treats, dog bowls, etc there as well. Note that it is indeed 2 full bath, but one is downstairs. All bedrooms are upstairs with the other bathroom. The steps are very steep but as long as you know that going in, you'll be fine. We just made less trips than we normally would have. Everything was very well appointed. The eclectic decor made it such a comfy place to stay. Communication was great with the owners. I would definitely return if in the area.

We so enjoyed our stay at The Crooked Cottage! The cottage was decorated beautifully! Each room had its own cozy and comfortable personality. The owners provided thoughtful touches with coffee, snacks, desk with writing paper & phone chargers, lap robes and dog towels, great kitchen, washer & dryer, beautifully landscaped back yard, and many more! The owners responded immediately to the few questions we had. They are amazing and went above and beyond any VRBO we’ve ever stayed in! We highly recommend The Crooked Cottage!
