The Rusty Salmon Lake House with Deck, Dock, Canoe and Kayaks

Excellent communication, clean, cozy, quiet and all the comforts of home! Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

The house was comfortable and cozy

It is a lovely place with beautiful views. We had a wonderful stay with no problems. The host kept in touch.

When we left, the front door was locked and we could not get it unlocked. Also, there was one shade on the big windows toward the lake that was broken. The downstairs bedroom ceiling light fixture is just rather funky, but maybe that’s the only way it works. Anyway small things and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you, Greg and Ann.

Beautiful cozy cabin with lots of charm! Amazing view of the lake, we loved walking out on the dock and watching the loons. Nice and clean as well with plenty of amenities.

Outstanding! The Rusty Salmon Lake House is a wonderful place to stay. The house has all the amenities you need and Peter the host, was kind and always available for any of our questions during our stay. The house is minutes drive to Main Street and to all of the exciting things you can do during your stay. Highly recommend staying at the Rusty Salmon Lake House.

The house and property were gorgeous! We saw moose and beavers. The kayaks were a lovely amenity to use. My family really enjoyed all of the space in the house. Very clean, modern and Peter was a breeze to work with.

We had such an amazing time. The house was PERFECT for our family of 5. We had fun on the lake. It was a short drive to Talkeetna with amazing views on the way. It was also close to the grocery store and short drive to other fishing lakes we visited. I would highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay in this tranquil property! Beautiful location and with amazing lake views, the deck was a great spot to relax and watch the bird life. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and amazing Alaskan decor! An ideal base for visiting Denali National Park, Talkeetna and a sort drive to the grocery store. Would highly recommend.

It’s a great place on Sunshine Lake in Talkeetna. Had all the stuff. Comfy beds, cozy living room great kitchen.

We had the best new years week vacation. The house was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor Alaska activities on the frozen lake behind the house. Definitely a week the family will remember.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful property and the nature was stunning! There was plenty of firewood and despite being off the beaten path, amenities were great. Super short drive to some great breweries and downtown Talkeenta which was so much fun! Peter was a great host and we couldn’t have asked for more
