Riverside Cabin at Susitna River Lodging

ABSOLUTLY WONDERFUL

This cabin was surprisingly comfortable with unique loft and sitting area, great beds and linens and towels. We were super pleased.

Beautiful location, very nice accommodations, very clean and convenient location.

These cabins are so cute and so clean. They are equipped with everything you need. The landscape around the cabins is very well maintained and the main house where you check in is very nice as well. Staff is wonderful ! Highly recommended !

The riverside cabin we stayed in was great. Could not have had a better view of the Susitna River. We could see the mountain range to the north towards Denali, and we minutes from the town. The cabin was clean and well equipped. The management stayed in touch with us from booking to departing. I will be back!

The location is picturesque on the banks of the river. The cabins are well appointed, extremely comfortable and with easy parking. Just a short drive (or walk) into the town make this a great choice for anyone.

Every aspect of our stay was fabulous. The staff was very professional and friendly. The cabin was a great experience. Only recommendation for improvement would be to add mattress topper to beds for more comfort.

The Riverside Cabins were very nicely put together, comfortable, and nice. Check in was easy.

This is about our 12th time to stay here and we love it every time. Yes the Internet could be better, but we only use it from time to time.

Multiple cabins allow for larger groups to stay together, but also provide privacy as needed. The overall property is amazing and the views of Denali are spectacular.

Enjoyed the ease and communication of the experience had amenities needed and easily access. Beautiful views and cabins were charming and warm. Mattresses were a bit stiffer than we are used to so a bit more difficult to rest.

We enjoyed a wonderful, quiet restful getaway for our 10 year anniversary. We plan to bring our children with us the next time we visit.

The cabin was clean and cozy with a throw blanket on the couch to snuggle up with. They upgraded us to a river front cabin and it was just so lovely and peaceful! It rained most of our time there, but I thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the loft with my feet up and reading with that view of the river and the sound of the rain on the roof. Thank you!

We loved to proximity to Denali and the quaint town of Talkeenta. But truly loved our little cottage and the closeness to the lake. The owners had certainly thought of our little detail we needed for our cottage and check in and out was a breeze!

The location, the beds, the cabin.

Close to town, but we came on the train and didn’t have a car so it’s about a mile walk to Main St. offering some bicycles to ride to town would have been nice.

We have been going to the lodge for years. watching the river flow by is relaxing. And of course people watching in Telkeetna is always fun.

The cabin was very cute, clean, and plenty of room for a family of four with two teenagers. We had an amazing view of Denali from the front porch of our cabin and even better at the river bank. They have a nice setup with a fire pit and chairs where you can relax with the Denali view and look for wildlife on the river. We saw a moose with two of her babies just across the river. Great stay!!

We loved the privacy of the cabin, the river flowing by and all the amenities in the cabin. It's nicely appointed, cozy and really felt like our Alaska home while we were away from our Florida home.

Kids loved the loft and location across from the park. Loved the dog-friendly atmosphere. Well equips cabin.

The cabin was clean, the beds were comfy, and the view was beautiful. There was enough parking room for our truck and snow machine trailer and our van. We also appreciated that we were able to pay a very reasonable pet fee and bring our dog with us. Emails and phone messages were returned promptly. There isn't an area where they fell short. We will definitely be back!

Loved everything about our stay. I was amazed at how absolutely spotless the cabin was. It was very quiet (except for the sound of the little refrigerator). Would book again and highly recommend.

Been coming here for almost 20 years! Love being detached from other rooms and the quietness of your cabins. It was a beautiful stay and we will be definitely back.

the cabin is well thought out. A mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker -- no stove top or oven, but an electric frying pan and even a crockpot make it possible to make a great meal. Kitchen tools, and dishware show some thought to make this nice for guests.

We stayed for 5 nights in the well appointed cabin. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived before check-in and they let us put our groceries in our refrigerator, which we REALLY appreciated. Everyone was super helpful and the location allowed us to walk to town. Saw the Aurora on our 1st night. Talkeetna is quirky and we arrived after many things had closed for the season, but we still had a great time. Only complaint is the kitchen sink was too small, but we made it work.

The quietness - the views - the rolling rive - the sites of the mountains. We even got a glimpse of the Northern Lights. The cabin was beautiful - clean - well kept.

This cozy cabin is modern, clean and located in a beautiful, well cared for natural setting on the Susitna River, just outside of downtown Talkeetna. All the beds were very comfortable and the kitchenette and fulll bath were very clean and just right for a short stay.
