Cozy Log Home -King bed, full kitchen, bathroom with clawfoot tub, outdoor area

We arrived easily per instructions to a very cozy, quiet cabin. The grounds are very well kept. The only regret I have is that I didn't book enough time for our stay. I plan on returning again. Thank you Arlene.

It is a very cute and cozy log cabin. Lots of nice and tasteful touches! The bed is large and comfortable, plus the weather when we were there was awesome!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a long birthday weekend (four days) and we couldn't have been happier! This log home is tranquility distilled. Located at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac and nestled within the calming woods of Talkeetna, this property feels as though you've been transported to a fantastical getaway existing only in the mind of J. R. R. Tolkien. Being mere minutes from the Flying Squirrel Bakery Cafe for breakfast, Denali Brewing if you find yourself parched and Talkeetna itself for more food/tourism/shopping options snugly places this property in the perfect position to get out and about quickly without being inconvenienced by tourist traffic and noise. Speaking of convenience, it's difficult to put into words how thoroughly accommodating this home is. I use the term home purposefully here because it genuinely felt like coming back home after a day's activities. Aside from clothing and food, this log home has, without question, everything you would ever need. I was continually blown away from just exploring within the drawers and cabinets. Board and lawn games, extensive movie collection, pots/pans, slippers, tea/coffee supplies, a bin of toiletries if you forgot anything and cleaning supplies. I could go on forever without the character limit. Arlene has thought of absolutely everything and is a sweetheart. I will definitely be coming back every time I stay in Talkeetna and am going to recommend it to everyone. I didn't want to come home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this Talkeetna cabin! Besides being so close to Denali south and all the gorgeous mountain views, it was super comfortable! The king bed and claw foot tub were great. The whole place was pristinely clean. Host was amazingly accommodating! We will definitely recommend! God Bless!

This cabin is exactly like the pictures. So comfortable and had everything we needed. Only stayed one night due to how trip was planned but would stay again at least for two nights. The only thing I'd add or change is a small love seat or place to sit or stretch out. The chairs provide a place but if I were staying longer would want something a little bigger to relax on besides the bed.
