The Long Dream House

Everything was wonderful. Cabin feels remote while being near all amenities. You can enjoy your day while being immersed in the jungle. Staff were excellent. We received updates every morning about activities in the community. All 7 of us (4 adults, 3 children) had ample space and enjoyed the stay.

We loved the open air kitchen and living space plus beach access. The staff was so helpful and friendly.

What an experience to stay at Congo Bongo, in nature, beautiful surroundings, wildlife all around, walk to the beach. Everyone was so helpful and kind. They could find/recommend anything we needed, restaurants, tours, tattoo artist :) ect and brought extra towels when necessary and even did laundry. Nothing I can think of.

We like everything about CongoBongo. The mission they are on to keep Manzanillo the quiet little place it is. We were completely satisfied with the services supplied. Everyone goes out of their way to help With anything you need or want to find out about the area. Can’t think of a thing!

I like everything, astonish jungle, beautiful beaches and good vibes everywhere. My place #1 in the Caribbean definitely.

The house and surrounding is very clean and well managed. The area is full of wildlife and close to the beach. Communication was very good.

Nous recommandons ce lieux pour un moment de détente, de découverte et d’immersion en pleine nature

Congo Bongo Eco Lodge is such a gem!! I'm so glad we found it. We loved everything about Congo Bongo - the location in the jungle is priceless, the service and the friendliness of the staff, and especially Marisol was great! The Long Dream House is larger than it looks on the pictures, and absolutely cozy! You can hear the sounds of the jungle all around, howler monkeys, sloths and tucans in the trees above the bungalow, and all kinds of exotic species of flora and fauna. There is a great beach, which feels deserted and all to yourself just five minutes away via a short walk in the jungle. The proximity to Cahuita NP, and Gandoca-Manzanillo preserve makes this a great location to explore the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We were there in mid June which is the beginning of the rainy season, and the weather was unpredictable - rainy one hour, sunny the next, but that's part of the magic! It did not stop us from doing all sorts of activities, and simply lie in the hammocks and enjoy the rain when we were homebound. I highly recommend Congo Bongo. Thank you to the owners and staff for making our stay unforgettable!

Staff people and the comfortable house. Everything was beautiful. Maybe a swimming pool or a little coffee restaurant.

Had a great time in the long house. Definitely looking forward to coming back.
