- Welcome to The Ledges Resort & Marina! We are located directly on the St. Lawrence River across from Boldt Castle. We have views of the castle, Sunken Rock Lighthouse, and the main shipping channel. There are decks, docks, hammocks, and gazebos all across our six-acre property. Stayed Sep 17, 2025The house was the perfect getaway for my husband and I! Clean and so nicely decorated! We loved sitting outside by our bonfire. The location was great. Very close to restaurants, cute river towns and the river tours to the Boldt Castle. Definitely would recommend. Karen and Art. Chesterfield NJ

Stayed Sep 3, 2024Very nice cottage. We would return to the same location. Only improvement that needs done is the holes in the driveway. Very very bumpy. Very quiet and we enjoyed the fire pit and view of the water. Even saw some freighters go by.

Stayed Jun 17, 2022My wife and I were staying in Alexandria Bay for one night and this was a beautiful little private hideaway. The room was pristine and excellently decorated. Everything was great. We got to the property after dark, in the rain, so we didn't avail ourselves of any of the amenities, but the cottage was very easy to find. I highly recommend The Ledges.

Stayed Sep 19, 2021We loved this place. Sparrow cottage is brand new with modern furnishings. The kitchen is compact but had everything we needed. Pretty bathroom and bedroom. The unit feels like a modern hotel room with the benefit of a kitchen and beautiful outdoors. Each cottage has its own fire ring which is stocked everyday with firewood, situated on a large open grassy area. There is a marina on the property which partially blocks the river view, but we enjoyed watching the boats. The owners were friendly and responsive - we reached them by text and they always responded right away. This is a super cute place, I will definitely come again.
