The Loon Cottage is a beautiful loft style one bedroom cottage with a stone fireplace overlooking the river. It has a queen size bed upstairs. Downstairs there is a queen size pull out sofa with a memory foam mattress. It has a full kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, farmhouse apron sink, range, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea kettle, and microwave. There is a 39 HDTV with Directv satellite television.
On the outdoor deck there is a grill and dining table with chairs to enjoy summer grilli

Stayed Jul 5, 2025If you are looking to unwind and just relax this is the place. Peaceful yet not boring. You can walk to A Bay easily. Best part is sitting outside with a glass of whatever and watch the world go by, esp. the ships which are awesome and majestic. This was our 3rd stay here and it never disappoints. I’m a bit of a cleanliness nut and I have nothing but good things to say about this place.Lorrie and Greg

Stayed Jun 23, 2024We stayed in the Loon Cottage and absolutely loved it! This is a great location, only a short walk or quick ride to all the restaurants, The property has many extras including canoes, grills, pool and a beautiful area for outdoor camp fires and lounging. The owners were quick to respond to any messages and always available for assistance, We would recommend The Ledges to any families looking for a perfect spot to vacation In Alexandria Bay!

Stayed Sep 15, 2023Stunning property & marina on the St Lawrence Seaway. Clean & efficient units on large & spacious grounds. Spectacular views & scenery abound. The owners were easily accessible & friendly. Our unit was as advertised, with Dish Network TV, gas fireplace, all new exterior & interior. Spacious bathroom, fabulous shower, plentiful towels & washcloths. Kitchen was well appointed, outside grill & firepit with plenty of firewood & kindling. Beautifully decorated grounds added to the total experience. Watching ships go by, shopping in town or just exploring the area & walking in town. Alexandria Bay, The Ledges, Boldt Castle made for one Excellent Vacation

Stayed May 23, 2023We traveled up from Maryland to celebrate our daughters wedding at Boldt Castle (which you can see from the property) and were awe struck by the location and coziness of this cottage. Nick and Amy were very responsive to any questions that I had. We're looking forward to visiting again to explore the town more in depth.
