The Ledges Resort and Marina, Harbor House

My sisters and I had a great time celebrating our Mom’s 70th birthday at the Leges. The Harbor House was amazing — quaint, comfortable, and well-equipped. Property was gorgeous and decorated for Fall. Highly recommend.

The cottage provided all of our needs and was in a wonderful location. We completely enjoyed our stay. The view was perfect. The amenities were Fantastic. The owners are kind and on top of all provisions. Really fantastic!

Very nice stay with lovely hosts. Pretty place. A real get away from everything feel.

The cottage and grounds were not well maintained. Many windows in the cottage glass was cracked and taped. Refrigerator was very old and the bedrooms need new mattresses. Many spiders inside of the cottage. Toilet upstairs would not flush. For the amount of money you pay these items all should be addressed. An abandoned old Mercedes parked right next to the pool. Left actually a day early. If these items were fixed I would change to four stars.

My wife and I couldn't have been more pleased with the property grounds or the the lodgings! And having our dog along with us just made the vacation More Family Friendly. ( Our leashed dog loved trying to chase the squirrels!!!...it gave us a workout!) The housing was immaculate and we really appreciated how cool the air conditioner and the ceiling fan made those hot humid nights so bearable. Thank you Nick and Amy for also quickly responding to ANY request we made. Will be returning for sure!!

Great family vacation in super location with great views of the thousand island region. The property is very well kept, from a very clean house, to the large grounds that was great for walking the dog; nightly campfires; or heading into town (10 minute walk to Alex Bay). Our jet skis were just outside our front door, and our family really enjoyed the trip to one of the more beautiful areas of NYS. The owners were very attentive to answering questions and addressing any needs. It seemed as though someone from their staff was on the grounds available anytime. We were there on one of the hottest weeks of the year: July 4th. The air in the living room just couldn't keep up. I loved being able to cook and hang with all of the kids and grand kids, jump in the boat and go to the different islands right from our own dock. The staff and owners are super nice, even helped us unload our truck into the cottage. We stay all over the country and have never had that kind of help. Amy is especially nice. One little issue was the sewer smell from the nearby marina but that was only the last night. Worth the stay!!!!

We had a great stay in this cottage, on the water, overlooking the St Lawrence Seaway! Well appointed and great host who even carried our bags to the cottage. Fun, unique experience. That home actually floats on the water in at the mouth of a protected harbor. Enjoyed the very slight rocking motion. I highly recommend!

The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for. Right on the water - very quiet! I was nervous about being so close to the marina, but that was absolutely not an issue! We were able to pull our boat rental right up to the dock that was at the back door of the cottage. Could not get any more convenient! The cottage was basic, but clean and plenty of space for our family of 6!
