The Cheeky Tui is a character-filled property perfect for families. The house is sheltered, sunny and quiet with a large, grassy section. Well behaved and house-trained dogs are more than welcome. There is a Kent fire and heat pump for winter so the house is lovely and warm. The Fidgety Fantail holiday home, (also owned by us) is at the bottom of the driveway making it perfect for 2 families or friends to rent one each.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025Great little Bach with everything we needed. A great time was had by all. Lots to do around the area and strolling around the streets, paths and down to the beaches was cool.

Stayed Dec 29, 2024Quintessential kiwi bach in an amazing location. So much to see and do, especially if you have a boat! We were really lucky to have the owners staying in the bach next door so got all the local knowledge on what to see and do, including some spots to catch fish. Very much recommended!

Stayed Mar 29, 2024The little place is nicely set up and cosy. The close proximity to the reserve and access to little lake side walks was great for the kids. Handle on the fireplace needs a bit of attention, but apart from that we were very happy.

Stayed Aug 18, 2023The house was cosy, comfortable, clean, dog-friendly, fully fenced. Field next to the house great for running the dog, the house is very close to the lake with easy boat access. Lots of toys and kids dvd's.
