Beautiful 3 bedroom house and sleep out at Lake Tarawera with stunning lake and mountain views. Open plans kitchen and dining flows on to lounge and the large deck outside. The large deck overlooks the lake and is well fenced and safe for children. Separate sleepout with double/single bunk bed. Steps walks down to the rear lawn and Te Tora Dr behind the house.

Stayed Jan 25, 2024Wonderful place to stay if visiting Rotorua. It gets you out of the suphulorus small of Rotorura and into clean mountain/lake air. The view of the volcano and lake is stunning. The deck is a great luxury and the place is very well appointed for a relaxing stay.

Stayed Nov 16, 2023We enjoyed a 2 night stay here so we could attend a wedding 2 mins down the road at the Black Barn. Perfect location, we enjoyed a quick trip into Rotorua the morning of the wedding (20mins e/w). The views were magnificent, spacious rooms, well equiped kitchen and amenities. We would happily stay here again. Communication great with excellent details. Check in time/out was no problem for us.

The weather was devine so we made good use of the spacious deck, BBQ and outdoor furniture, enjoyed the lake-views listened to the chatter and song of bellbirds and tuiEasy walk or cycle to the lake. Everything you might need in the kitchen, plenty of space.The BBQ needed a good clean, but was soon done by us.

Stayed Feb 9, 2025Our two week stay for a family of four at Lake Tarawera was fantastic! The deck lake view is absolutely stunning, and the setting is peaceful. We spent time at the lake taking a dip or lounging on the deck. The house has plenty of space, perfect for family time or finding a quiet spot to relax. The giant deck is a highlight, offering a great place to take in the surroundings. Would definitely recommend it! You need a car to get to Rotoura etc. we enjoyed walking to various lake swim spots for exercise and scenery.

Stayed Nov 29, 2024A lovely spot to have a holiday. Its driveway is a bit tricky to get back onto road as its on a bend in the road. Also recommend that people staying here bring basics. There was no milk or plain tea supplied. Had to go back into town to get these items. Other than that it was really comfortable. View was lovely.
