Great place to stay!

This was a great pet-friendly stay. All the amenities of home in a nice rustic setting just a little ride from downtown Frankfort. Only caution is for taller individuals - ceilings in the stairwell did result in a bumped head a few times by my partner who is 6’. Great stay overall and thankful for the inclusion of our furry friends. :-)

Great little place just outside of Frankfort. Property was clean and looked exactly as it does in the photos. We had a great stay and would stay here again.

We did not know this property was a split level. It had been disclosed that the basement had a bedroom but we were surprised that 2 flights of stairs had to be ascended to reach the main level from the basement Property had everything we needed

Very clean and well appointed. Everything is brand new! There are some stairs to get to either living area. Was not an issue for us, but important if you have issues traveling stairs.A few miles from town and close to everything benzie county has to offer. The hosts were very communicative and we had no issues while here.Truly a relaxing place to stay while away

We had a nice stay at the Bear. Check in and out was easy and the duplex had a very nice interior renovation. Beds and couch were comfortable, and we enjoyed the deck! The house was a challenge with a young kid - the landing and dual staircase was difficult to navigate each time we had to leave the house or load the car, the door did not lock from the inside so I worried our son would let himself out, and the second bedroom was on a different floor so we were very separated in the evening and the stairs were tough at night. The house was outside of downtown and was on a pretty loud, busy corner. We didn't end up using the outside space much.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The host had very quick response time to any questions I had. The house was very nicely renovated. You can tell the host really puts forth the effort to ensure the house is stocked. Fully stocked kitchen and even had toiletries if you needed them. Overall very pleased and would love to stay here again.

Everything is super new, clean, and cozy! A very short drive into town and close to all the activities in Sleeping Bear Dunes.

We loved our short stay at The Bear. It left us wanting more time here and visiting Frankfort. It was cute, clean, and felt homey. We loved how close it was to town and the beach while still feeling secluded and private.

The property was very nice and well decorated inside. We had an amazing time and loved the area! There was a bad smell (cat litter) in the basement and we were not aware there was not AC. Other than that, it was perfect!
