Frankfort, Michigan
Built in 2018, the Maple house is set high atop the bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan one mile North of Downtown Frankfort. Two rollaways and a sleeper sofa can accommodate groups of up to 12 in beds.
**Due to high water and erosion on Lake Michigan, we have closed the stairs down the Bluff (June 2020). If you wish to spend time on the beach, we recommend the Frankfort Public Beach or any of the public beaches on Crystal Lake. We hope to reopen the stairs as soon as mother nature allows us.**
The Frankfort area is home to a deep water marina, the Stormcloud Brewery, Pointe Betsie Lighthouse, Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, Arcadia Bluffs Golf Courses, wine tours, skiing at Crystal Mountain and you don't need to leave our property to hike, mountain bike and explore the dune and forests. Crystal and Platte Lakes and the Betsie and Platte rivers provide sportsmen with fishing, kayaking, tubing and swimming with many gear rental businesses in the area.
Watch sunsets, bald eagles, whitetail deer, monarch butterflies and other native species from the comfort of your deck or take the path and stairs to the bottom of the bluff for a swim.

We welcome weddings on our Bluff overlooking Lake Michigan!
Terrific stay - too short!! only one night.. we did not get an opportunity to explore the area and lake Michigan shore... NEXT TIME! beautiful place - terrific for 4 couples!!
This house was perfect for us. Amazing location and views. Very simple home, clean and adequate. Warning: there is no door on the master bedroom. This didn't bother us, but for people who are light sleepers or need privacy this would be annoying.
We had our biannual family reunion and my daughter’s wedding at the end of the week. The view and setting is beautiful. We all had a great time.
Our date moved a few times as we were planning the stay around a wedding which was postponed because of COVID multiple times. Dawn was very accommodating in helping us move our reservation dates around and allowing us to have early check in. I can’t say enough good things about the place, it’s location and the management. Would highly recommend!
We enjoyed a great four night stay at this lovely home. The views were breathtaking and so very relaxing! All four couples said they would love to come again! The beds were super comfy!
Awesome house, great location, a great place to get away and disconnect yet still about a 5 minute drive from the nearby grocery store. Definitely will be back for another trip of rest and relaxation. Only thing I wish was functional was the steps down to Lake Michigan however I understand this isn't the owners fault and they are in the process of fixing it!
The property is set next to 2 other homes - secluded but close to the town of Frankfort. The breeze, fresh air, and views are priceless. The furniture is simple but does the job. I don't know what they do to the sheets and towels but they are very soft. Only complaint is that the steps down to the beach are closed but that isn't their fault. The power went out for about an hour but the owners communicated well and got it up and running quickly. The chairs on the patio are right at eye level with the view so I liked to bring a higher stool outside. Overall I would highly recommend and hope to be back someday!
We have been visiting Frankfort for many years. This was our first rental on the water. Very pleasant experience. Although parking was a little bit of an issue especially with the proximity of the other rental homes. But home was very nice and views were breathtaking.
The property was awesome. Very clean. The large house next door needs better parking. They had several large boats and many cars making it difficult to maneuver through there. The tanker for the propane gas just turned around. I'm not sure if he ever came back to fill the tanks. I would definitely come back to this place again. We are a group of women who travel and hike.
We just checked out this morning and had a wonderful stay. Place was clean. Had the most incredible views of Lake Michigan. Close to Frankfort and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Even had a mini-dune for the kids. Bummer on the stairs to the beach being out of service, but nothing the owners have control of.
