Sycamore Downtown Vista

Beautiful home. Simply decorated. Everything we needed was there. Street parking “free on the weekend” was a bonus. We parked and walked to dinner, shops, and breakfast the next morning. The only negative was the quality of the second floor mattresses. They’re lumpy and creaky. One note to your cleaning service: the washcloths were stained with foundation. That was not us. Aside from those two items, it was a wonderful stay!

We are in Historic Lancaster frequently. This if the first time renting a house. It was fantastic. Blocks from all that we love. Central market, the Fulton Theater and Josephines restaurant. We had some health issues so part of party could not come but the third floor for a family will be perfect next time. Also the kitchen was well equipped with a coffee pot, wine glasses and any thing else we could have needed. Thank you!!!!

Excellent home!!! Such a cute house and all amenities were perfect! Location was amazing for shopping, eating, and walking. Our only suggestion would be to have one moire couch in the living room. :)

We enjoyed the amenities and the location of this property. Lancaster has a lot offer in the way of bars and restaurants. The property is located right downtown but it is easy to get around town walking or driving. The house is 3 stories so getting to the top floor was a hike but worth the trip. A very charming set up and we loved it. Hope to come back again in the near future. Becky was great and communication was excellent.

We had a great stay here. The property was very clean and comfortable, and the parking space in the back was extremely helpful and convenient. The location is great and you can walk to anything in downtown Lancaster with ease. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were in town for a wedding celebration weekend! The home was wonderful! Clean updated spacious and comfy!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect. Communication with the owners was great. We were able to park our cars and walk to everywhere. We also enjoyed being in the home and using the nice deck off the second floor.

We were with family for a wedding in town and this was the perfect place to stay! We walked into downtown Lancaster to enjoy the shops and restaurants and were able to make full use of the kitchen and great back porch. Home was very clean and check in/out was a breeze. Highly recommend!!

Believe all the reviews- Super clean, chic, HEAVENLY beds, comforters, pillows. Perfect property to hang out w friends or family. Large dining table and kitchen area , just awesome gathering place. Prompt and friendly owners, who respond quickly to a question. Dont hesitate to book here!

We really enjoyed our stay of 5 days. The location is within easy walking distance of downtown. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Designated parking is for one car, but we were able to work out a spot for a second car. Overall it was a great place for us!Thank you!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at this property. It is located in a great spot in downtown Lancaster and is stocked as needed. We had no issues and would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay there very much. We cooked all that one meal there and the kitchen facilities were excellent. My wife said she loved it and hopes we can come back again. Our grandson is a grad student at Temple University, so there’s a good chance we can return.

So enjoyed our stay in this quant historic little home in downtown Lancaster! Love the exposed brick! Decor is as beautiful as in the pictures. The home worked well for the four of us who were in town for Sight & Sound and some shopping. The larger main bath is on the second floor where 3 of us shared 2 rooms. Both these rooms and the main bath have doors to adjoin them. The beautiful third floor suite would be perfect for a couple though the shower may be small for a larger person. There’s a small room/closet off this suite for an infant or toddler (pack & play in closet that has a window). Parking out back works well but can be a little tricky if you arrive after dark and are not familiar with the roads. Look carefully on your nav for the ‘road’ that goes behind the row houses. Alll in all, would highly recommend! If stairs are a problem, you may want to skip this one though.

Lovely stay in a historic downtown townhouse. Easy access to all restaurants, shops, and art studios. Would definitely stay next time we are in town.

My husband, and 2 teenagers (13 & 16) and I visited family in TN and on our way home spent 4 days in PA. This property was perfect for us! We loved the location (did day trips to Hershey Park, Amish Country, & Gettysburg). Walked downtown for dinner the first night. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Cool shopping; historic city. The property is spacious, everything is comfortable, well decorated, and has a WONDERFUL rooftop deck. I had my coffee out there every morning! Hosts were very easy to communicate with, and nice and clear in their information and instructions. Would highly recommend this listing. We wish we could have taken more advantage of the walkability of the city, but didn’t have the time with all of our other awesome plans! The space has a lot of character. We thought it had a very “Newport Mansions” feel to the inside. Three separate floors, 2 full baths, 1/2 bath on main floor, washer/ dryer, central air, etc. Listing pictures are accurate. My favorite aesthetics: great lighting, long dining room table, nice mix of timeless elements with modern touches. The onsite parking for 1 vehicle was convenient for us, too. (There are additional parking options as well if you have more than 1 vehicle.) We would book here again!

This home is beautiful, clean and laid out exactly as presented on vrbo. Parking in the rear for one vehicle was easy, convenient and very appreciated! We cooked a few easy meals and had everything we needed. Being located in the heart of the city I was surprised to not hear any street noise and slept well.
