Spacious Talkeetna home on Ruth Glacier Avenue

Fantastic host. Owner was very attentive even down to stocking seasonings and little pantry staples to facilitate cooking. She was easily reachable if we had any questions. House was very comfortable, clean, and spacious which worked great for our party of 8. Loved it.

Came with everything you could want. Super nice home, amazing place with great amenities. Would definitely rent again

Overall nice property, kinda old, and water heater constantly runs out of hot water. We had to shower with cold water a couple of times in chilly weather.

House was very nice and spacious. Easy drive to/from Talkeetna and back deck was great.

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed. It was perfect for our group of 8. Beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and in perfect condition. The kitchen was very well equipped. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the covered deck and having a cook-out to take advantage of the great weather we had during our stay.

The property was better than expected. Pictures just don’t do it justice. The yard and patio were the highlight.

We really enjoyed our stay. Check-in was very smooth. The house was very clean and equipped with all essentials including the kitchen setup. Enough room for all seven with our group. Nice home for good relaxation. The host, April always responds promptly.

This is a very nice property. Super clean and new and very good experience. The only downside of the place is the road that is a block away. You can hear cars drive by every so often but in the evening things quiet down as the cars subside. I would highly recommend this place. April created a very high quality experience and was easy to chat with.

Very welcoming communication prior to stay and exceptional, clean, comfortable accommodations for our 3-gen family of 9. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the patio bookending our busy days at touring destinations. Extremely pleased and grateful we could enjoy this home - including the surprising scene that unfolded late one evening as we looked out the window & saw a mamma and a baby mouse!

This was our first vrbo rental and it will be tough to beat! The house was super clean, well stocked, and in a fantastic location.

April is definitely a top host. She has furnished this home with beautiful furniture, art, and everything you might need for a wonderful Talkeetna area experience. Anything we asked her about before or during our stay was promptly answered. Our family of 10 included my husband and I (master) our single son (upstairs br) married son (upstairs br) and our married son’s family who occupied the bonus area also on the second floor. The bonus area with a total of 4 twin beds and a crib is connected by the stairwell with curtains separating the 2 rooms. Their twins could see & hear mom and dad if needed and there was a pack&play for the baby. It was easy for us to make the bathrooms serve all our needs since the master bath could be accessed from the bedroom or the kitchen hall. The grounds are beautiful and there is ample parking.

Your property was fantastic…great location, everything we could possibly want, multiple rooms and bathrooms to share, a great outside area and beautiful house!We were lucky to have mostly sunny weather our visiting family got to share unbelievable views of Denali and shop and eat goodies in downtown Talkeetna. Stayed 3 nights prior to our cruise. Fantastic property!!! April was an excellent host with outstanding communication. Close to Talkeetna and an easy drive to Denali. Highly recommend this host and property.

The house is absolutely beautiful!! We took an Alaskan cruise with our children and then visited Denali National Park and stayed at the home for 2 nights. The house has anything one would need, April has thought of everything. Even had a pizza pan for us to reheat our pizza we had at one of the local restaurants. Make sure you visit the small but cute town of Talkeetna! Highly recommend this home if you are visiting the area....beautiful!
