Spacious, lavish home in Pinion Hills, with a hot tub overlooking Salida

The host was very kind and welcoming, the house was clean, cozy, and a great place to escape to.

Our family really enjoyed the house, and appreciated the great location to Salida and Monarch Mountain. It was a great house to stay in for a little getaway.

We enjoyed a wonderful week for Thanksgiving in this home and could not have found a better place to enjoy the holiday. The house was clean, well outfitted, and the space was ideal for a get away to enjoy friends and the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space and the indoor space this spot provided. It was a quick trip into town to resupply as needed, and easy access to a variety of activities in the mountains. For the most part though, we just enjoyed the house with games, hot tubs, fires, and more. Highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a getaway near Salida!

This house is a fantastic location and it’s very well equipped for any kind of week away. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving experience here cooking, hiking, and enjoying the excellent hot tub overlooking the sunsets. Everything was well cleaned and prepped. This is a lovely modern house with an absolutely stunning view of the Arkansas River Valley. Sitting outside by the fire, or in the hot tub, or just soaking in the views is a real treat. The house is well appointed, and accommodated 4 of us perfectly. Highly recommend!

We could not be more delighted about our stay at Barnwood Chateau. It was perfect for our family of four. Everyone had their own space. The home is immaculate and comfortable. It had scathing we needed. We loved the view of the mountains from our bedrooms, kitchen and patio. We loved everything! We hope to return someday.

This home is literally amazing. It is peaceful and beautiful with stunning mountain views. The 3 bedrooms are comfortable with spacious bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. The hot tub is on the front patio and slightly recessed into the patio floor giving it a sense of privacy with stunning mountain views and starry night time skies. This house is in a very quiet neighborhood in a pinyon forest on a hillside providing a perfect retreat. We would readily return to this home for a stay in the area. It is extremely convenient to both the towns of Salida and Buena Vista and their many attractions.

This home is everything you would ever need in a stay in Salida. Whether you want to cook a family meal, or just relax in the hot tub under the stars. It was very clean and new, just beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!

Once I mentioned what I needed, Jessica made the recommendation and prepared the space for my arrival. The views were spectacular, the hot tub was lovely and it was the perfect amount of space with 2 master bedrooms upstairs and a third bedroom/ bathroom on the first floor. Beautifully designed. Would recommend this spot.
