Spacious Hilltop Escape with Basketball, Pingpong & Sunset Firepit

We had such an amazing stay! My siblings and our family had our own full size bathrooms and bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen table was perfect for all 11 of us to sit at. The host was amazing at communicating before, during and after. Highly recommend!!

The house was beautiful! We had a fantastic visit and it met all our needs. Having the garage to park the cars in and the bonus basement space for the kids to hang out in was perfect. We visited in December and it was had a gorgeous view of the farm. I can’t even imagine how amazing it is in warmer weather. We made some fantastic meals in the lovely kitchen and were able to all sit together around the spacious dining table. It was very clean and the beds comfy. It was such a great choice for our trip to the area.

Janine was a great host! She even had the driveway salted the morning after a freeze. The place was beautiful and the perfect home for our family reunion. We will definitely rebook this wonderful stay!

Our family of 9 really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful & beautiful home. The ping pong table & large TV in the basement was a big hit, and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, as were all of the bathrooms. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome, well accommodated, nice kitchen and bedrooms; my kids didn’t want to leave. It’s a quiet place surrounded by farms and can keep the cars inside the garage. I’ll definitely go back to this place on my next visit to Lancaster.

Lovely, big home. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes and pans. Outdoor patio and grill was great! Huge basement that the kids could play around in. They loved the ping pong table and air tube game! Would stay there again.

We are a group of ladies who gather every year for a week. This may have been the best yet. We are contemplating returning next year. The views out our windows were magnificent. Magnolia Cottage is exactly what we needed for our annual Lancaster County getaway. The house is beautiful and spacious. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and accommodating. Everyone talked about how comfortable the mattresses are. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The views are spectacular! We absolutley loved the sunrises and sunsets. It was a pleasure to have Janine as our host. She was responsive and informative. We are grateful to Janine for sharing her wonderful home with us. All in all, a fun and memorable weekend!

What a fantastic place to celebrate the new year. Spacious rooms, clean, comfortable beds, great views. Very refreshing that it was exactly like the pictures. Great communication with host. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to celebrate the new year with friends and family.

Great space and layout for big families, beautiful outdoor space. Plenty of clean beds and bathrooms. Wonderful main floor great room/kitchen, and a must-see wrap around porch…complete with wicker rockers. Relax. Renew. Refresh. Lots of activities nearby.

This house was spacious and perfect for our 8 coworkers! The grounds are spectacular. In our downtime there’s ping pong, basketball and a fire pit. It’s close enough to stores and highways but with no neighbors..just surrounded by corn!! Everyone had a wonderful time!

In the area for a wedding, my sister, our husbands and four adult children thoroughly enjoyed our stay “Magnolia Cottage”. There was ample room to gather in both small and large groups throughout the home and or porch or back patio. The kitchen is spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed gathering around the fire pit in the evenings and spent most mornings on the covered porch enjoying coffee together! The area has multiple markets and other commercial options for grocery and various supplies. We loved our stay and recommend this property with comfort and confidence!

Awesome place

I rented the Magnolia Cottage for a small 50th year reunion of 9 friends. The living, dining and bedroom spaces were ideal. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. The location was a lovely Lancaster County setting while still being close to the city of Lancaster.
