Spacious coastal home with pool & gym, fast WiFi, central AC & great location

We enjoyed our stay we did have issues with the internet we did not have any from Saturday when we arrived until Tuesday afternoon after many calls and texts with Vacasa but otherwise it was good

This house was very nice. One of the best properties we've stayed at. The check-in was easy. The door has a security lock, so vacasa just sends the code to you before check in. The door lock was easy for me to use. The whole house was very clean, updated and well stocked with everything. The house has a new on-demand gas hot water heater so no problems with running out of hot water. The washer and dryer were newer and worked fine. Although not listed in the amenities The house has 9 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas and some sand buckets and toys for the kids. That was a pleasant surprise. I read a previous review that also mentioned that. It's nice to know so you don't have to pack the car up with beach chairs. The neighborhood was quiet. The only item that would have been nice to have is a gas grill. The property has no grill. The clubhouse and pool are very nice. Just one thing to know is that there is just one pickleball/basketball court for the whole housing development, and although you can reserve a time slot to use them, it might be hard to reserve the time you want. The house is about a mile or so from the beach so you have to pack up the car or cars with all your stuff your taking to the beach each day. Finding a parking spot at Bethany Beach was a challenge during the week. Granted we didn't get down to the beach till around 11, it still took me 10 minutes driving around the streets within 2 blocks of the beach to find a spot. Using Weekend Bus is a must.

My family had a great time during our stay here! The house was stocked with absolute everything we needed - especially for the beach (tons of beach chairs, toys for the kids, umbrellas, etc.)! The house was just a short drive to the beach, boardwalk, and grocery store. It was very clean and had plenty of space. I hope to book again in the future and definitely recommend!

The good things about this home were its close proximity to the pool/club amenities and the # of bedrooms and bathrooms. However, the home is in desperate need for a deep clean between guests and general maintenance. Kitchen cabinets and drawers were pretty gross and the home was infested with flies when we arrived along with overflowing garbage cans upon arrival that were not removed for a few days after we checked in. It’s a shame because it’s prob Vacasa’s fault (they outsource the housekeeping) and not the actual homeowners. Time to change property management companies. This isn’t the first negative experience our family has had with Vacasa and poor cleaning.

It was a great house lots of space plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms plus dining space

This home is beautiful and up to date. The open layout of the spacious kitchen (with double ovens), dining area and living room accommodated our family of 14 easily. Spacious bedrooms with large closets, and the kid's room with double bunks was enjoyed by our grandchildren. The home is tastefully decorated and had plenty of dinnerware and tableware for our large group. We were in need of nothing. Our family has already discussed returning next year. In all of our years vacationing, we have never stayed In the same place twice. Also, Vacasa was very easy to communicate with. I communicated either by phone or text message and always received great service. Thank you Vacasa for making our vacation enjoyable.

I called Vacasa to come and clean the front of the house which was spiders and cobwebs and just plain dirty. Vacasa said that they would send their team over but never did. I am surprised that no one in the neighborhood has complained about it. Other than that the inside was very clean.

We had family in town from New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Santa Barbara and San Francisco, everyone loved the home, its space and very close proximity to the beach and the boardwalk. We were also surprised that the home had beach toys for the children and also a wagon to use. The entire stay was seamless and we had a great time. Upon leaving we realized we left two of my daughters dresses in one of the closets and were able to speak to a vacasa representative and they were not very helpful, but despite this , we had a great time at this home and I would book this home again.

The home is beautiful and great for our family; however, our experience with the management company and the neighbors was awful. We did not have control of the thermostat the entire stay. The house was freezing. I called everyday asking if we could change the thermostat (it was locked). Our kids were freezing during the day and hot at night. The dish washer had also been broken and they did not notify us in advance. The management company was very unhelpful, never fixed either issue, but did eventually refund us some money for the inconvenience. This took many calls and emails. Just a warning to anyone with young children, the neighbors made us feel very unwelcome. We had spent every day at the beach or pool, and the one day we decided to have our kids play in the yard, we were harassed. The neighbor told us that our young children were too loud and should be inside as to not disturb the neighborhood. They then filed a complaint with the management company. It was 4 pm in the afternoon and the kids were playing with small toys in our yard. While the management company was unhelpful in addressing any of our concerns about the property, they took the time to call us about the noise compliant of our children playing. The whole incident was upsetting to us and our children.

The property is beautiful and accommodated our large family perfectly. We had many issues, however, which we are still awaiting refunds for. The AC was not working properly the entire week. We froze and all had to sleep in sweats and under blankets. Not great for a family with little ones. We were made aware of this the night before we arrived and promised a 50% refund for the 2 days until the repairman could come on Monday. Upon arrival, the home had not been cleaned and the cleaners showed up while we were unpacking and then left prev renters dirty sheets in closet. We were promised a refund of entire cleaning fee. Have not received. Dishwasher broke on Thursday, was not fixed at time of checkout. Hot water heater went out on Friday and we had not hot water all day. Home and community are beautiful and we were saddened by all that went wrong while we were there.
