Spacious 4-bed located 1 mile from Newport Beaches

We were a group of 4 senior women on a golf vacation. Outside porch/ deck closed off with chairs, so we didn't use, not a big deal . Screen on the porch deck damage , so we just figured that was the reason. House owner wonderful, answered every question we had. Very comfortable home. Excellent location to restaurants, beach and golf course. Very pleasant experience.

We had a family trip with my dad to go back to where he was born in Middletown, and staying at Matt‘s place could not have been more perfect. It was well suited for our group, and could’ve handled even more! We felt at home and it was a very special trip. Matt was a fantastic coast, and we absolutely would recommend his place!

House was clean, comfortable and conveniently located for our family’s visit to Newport for a family wedding. Grandson enjoyed the lower level bedroom and game room! Beds and pillows were comfortable. Host was responsive for replenishment of toiletries. Would stay again!

The house was beautiful and looked exactly as pictured in the photos. The home was clean, cozy and updated. We were centrally located and only a 5-15 minute drive from the beach, downtown, and many restaurants. My friends and I had a great time in Newport/Middletown. I would definitely stay here again.

This newly renovated home was a great find. The home was very clean, beds were comfortable, linens were great, plenty of extra towels and temp control was good. The upper level is beautiful. The lower level appears to still be a work in progress but I'm sure it will be great once completed fully completed. Location was perfect. Quick easy drive to beaches, downtown, cliff walk, supermarkets, shopping etc. Communication with owner was amazing - he was super responsive. The only call out is the water pressure which continously floats up and down. Other than that there was always plenty of hot water, even after 8 showers in a row!

Great space only a couple minutes from newport downtown and beaches. Made a great home base for a wonderful weekend.

Very comfortable, spacious, well laid out residence on a quiet street convenient to local shopping. The deck looks out on an unbuilt lot where goldfinches, red-winged blackbirds, and other birds were enjoying themselves, giving us lots of enjoyment as well. Excellent climate control -- a plus during this foggy and hot week. The host responded to questions quickly. It's not within convenient walking distance to the beach, but you can't have everything! We'd come again.
