Secluded Home with Firepit, Gas Grill, WIFI, WFH Station & Private W/D

We were allowed early check in at 12:30. The house was exactly as pictured. Kitchen had everything I was looking for including a well seasoned cast iron pan. My kids loved being able to run around outside and make smores by the campfire.

The house had a highchair, pack and play with sheets, water colors, coloring book and a small assortment of toys. Really appreciated the extra touches to make the entire family feel welcomed.

Had an amazing experience staying here. The cottage is full of character with wooden interiors and cozy furnishings that perfectly complements the natural surroundings. A fire pit area outdoors was perfect for stargazing. Waking up to gentle rustle of trees was pure bliss. Despite its rustic vibe, the cottage had all the essentials - a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, and even a few thoughtful touches like board games and puzzles. This place is a hidden gem.

Was perfect for our needs! Close to Crystal lake and Sleeping bear dunes! Place was clean (no mouse problems for us) even had a list of places they recommend to check out! Thank you!

The house was overall nice, however further looking into using the pots and pans we could smell water damage and mold. We didn’t see any, but we also believe that because of that mice have been living there as we did find some droppings. We chalked it up to the rustic experience and did enjoy our time here! The best privacy and outside space was perfect for outdoor games and activities. Overall, if you keep in mind that you are surrounded by woods and know that there’s always the possibility of bugs and mice being around, this is a great place to be!

We were greeted by a perfectly clean home, however by the time we woke up the next morning there were mouse droppings everywhere in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. While it is well located in a quiet location, the management ignored our requests for assistance with the mice during our stay indicating the property is on a quarterly pest management schedule - however it clearly needs more attention. While the wifi worked wonderfully and the kitchen was appropriately stocked, (minus the mice). the mattresses were foam and very uncomfortable on just platform bed frames. Be ready to keep your food tucked away in totes or the fridge for your entire stay or it will all be contaminated by mice!

Our stay was pleasant at the cottage. I noticed ALL the nice touches. Very clean and cozy. We wanted to take advantage of the fire outside but it ended up raining. I do wanna let yall know there was a mouse that you might wanna catch before it’s starts squatting with its family and becomes a bigger problem lol obviously due to location it wasn’t unexpected, no worries. Im just trying to be helpful. But we’re really curious…..me and my kids had really bad dreams and a strange feeling at night while staying there is there a story behind this?
