The tropical ecosystem does consist of geckos, non venomous spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, centipedes, and a variety of other insects. Yes, they do sometimes find their way into the cottage, especially the geckos. We do have monthly pest service and are diligent with catching them. They are harmless and eat insects. If you have any concerns about them or perhaps encountering any of these creatures.....PLEASE DO NOT BOOK!
Really wonderful place! We enjoyed the space so much and its views and lush backyard
Everything here is great! The host is amazing, she has thought of everything you would need to make your stay awesome. The only thing I didn't like was the tv was small.... But when you are here you spend most of your time outside. My tv is 80 inches maybe that's why I expected to be bigger. Other than that 9/10
Wonderful setting. The property is well taken care of and it shows. It was a great use of the location to add a second floor to take advantage of the sunrise views and ocean view. The second floor window reading bench was wonderful.
Very cute house.
Beautiful property with nice views of the ocean. Loved the home with all of it's charm.
This house was incredibly charming and very well appointed. It is in a lovely area not far from Hana, but far enough to feel remote and private.
I could just live on the lania- even in the rain it was beautiful and comfortable. A few mosquitos, but a bit of spray all they didn't bother me at all. The house was cute, comfortable and well equipped. And the location was great! Went to Falls, beaches and into town. Hope to make it back to Hana some day, and when I do I will head straight for this lanai. The host was always quick to respond as well. You will definitely enjoy your stay here!
So nice and relaxing! I miss being there already! I will be back!❤️
The house and property are just right for immersion into Hawaii. Really enjoyed the stay!
The moment we drove up we knew we had made a fabulous choice. The home was so inviting, elegantly beachy, not too trendy. Loved the white wash, blues and whites. The outdoor tub was a lot of fun! The veranda was fabulous and relaxing. Our only regret is we should have stayed longer! I would only make one suggestion and qualify it with that I understand the location is in the jungle, lots of spiders outside, perhaps an extra swipping during each cleaning to keep the webs down. We live in the country in Temecula wine country and understand webs form so quickly, I'm constantly removing. Mahalo!
Perfect for a nice quiet retreat! We loved the beach house feel. It was roomy and comfortable.
This house was a great home-base for our exploration of Hana. We stayed four days. The home and views from the property were very nice. The property manager took care of the only hick-up within 10 minutes: it was an entry key issue and Shyanne was there fast to open the door. I would definitely stay here again. Fantastic sunrises through the master windows. Easy to get everywhere that we wanted go and see on this end of the island.
The best room in this charming house is the outdoor veranda, with comfy seating and a view of the ocean. We enjoyed our coffee there in the morning and shared wine there in the evening. The upstairs bedroom is very bright -- bring your sleep mask -- and sometimes a bit noisy, with a chorus of cows and a nearby donkey -- so glad we brought ear plugs. Nonetheless, I recommend this VRBO near Hana.
the home was beautiful Many amenities LUSH yard filled with fresh fruit beautiful ocean view
This little cottage was perfect for our needs. Beautiful view, great location near all on Hana's highlights and comfy accommodations. Shyamne was very accommodating and the one little fix we needed was tended to immediately and was even accompanied by yummy banana bread. The overhead fans were a necessity as it was very warm the two days we were there. Only suggestion, Darker blinds in the master would have helped us ease into the morning sun a little smoother, but on the bright side, the sunrises were spectacular. Last suggestion, bring bug spray! Hana has many more bugs than residents!
Let me start with the few issues we had with the house since the list is very short: 1) Bugs, but you can't really avoid them in the very green environment of Hana 2) Neighboring cows were wailing all night, every night With that said, this house was near perfect! Large lawn, wonderful views, and very close to the beach/food trucks. Everything you need for the beach is pretty much provided at the house. We stayed here on our honeymoon, but there was a second bedroom downstairs that would be perfect for another couple or kids. We were also provided with a guide to get to & into the house, step by step, which helped because there is no cell service on the drive to Hana. All in all, great experience!
