Stayed Jul 10, 2025We loved staying at this house for a summer vacation in July. The location is was great as it is close to both Carvers Gap and Roan Mountain State Park. Hiking nearby is amazing with forests and wide open mountain views. The house had everything we needed and the covered porch area was great to sit outside and soak in the cool mountain air and listen to the birds. Communication and check in / out was smooth and prompt.

Stayed Jun 30, 2025This place is nestled right beside Roan Mountain State Park. It is very clean and spacious. All the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were beautiful. No tub, but the showers have a detachable wand for shaving or rinsing off. The air units in each bedroom and main area were easy to control and kept temperature well. The whole property is beautiful. Lots of little details inside and out that make this a fun stay. The kitchen is small but functional. It is well equipped for full meals. The upper porch was our favorite spot. It’s the perfect place to have your morning coffee. We will be back!
