Welcome to Rustic Ridge!
We are near skiing and hiking, making us a true 4 season destination. This little cabin was originally constructed over the foundation of an old tobacco barn built in the 1940s. It was struck by lightning in the 1970's, where it unfortunately burnt down. The materials used in the remodeling of what we now call Rustic Ridge were reclaimed materials. Stayed Oct 23, 2025The cabin and property are quiet and relaxing. The inside of cabin is built with refurbished wood and countertop. The bed was a little uncomfortable but, my husband and I both have back issues. We loved the outside lighting all around the cabin. The only thing we both didn't like was no door on the bathroom. You could easily put a wooden or even a foldable door, something for a little privacy, other than that we would re-book this cabin.

Stayed Jul 23, 2025This rustic cottage has a wonderful reclaimed-wood interior and nice designer touches. It’s pretty and very clean. Though the road leading up to it runs past a saw mill and a blighted property, the cottage itself is nicely situated on a remote property further up. There’s no stove, but the grill and microwave were all we needed. We really enjoyed the fire pit. We loved the cottage and would stay there again!
