Riverhouse NEW renovation, riverfront, game rm, fishing, swimming, paddle sports

The house was wonderful. I booked it mainly because it's all on one level (my sister has trouble going up and down stairs) but everything about the house was perfect. It was spotless when we arrived, and every little extra convenience had been thought of. Both bathrooms had travel sizes of any toiletries that you might have forgotten. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook your own meals. And the laundry room was well stocked if you needed to wash clothes. We didn't spend time outside because it was February, but the back porch was nicely furnished and the view was still lovely with everything covered in snow. Speaking of the weather, there was a snowstorm the night before we were set to leave. The owner made sure that the walkway was cleared of snow in the morning. Even then he offered to let us check out later because of the weather, or even stay an extra night if we didn't want to drive in the snow. We did end up leaving that afternoon, but I still very much appreciated the kind and thoughtful offer.

They really thought of everything at the Riverhouse! So many amenities and such a clean and inviting environment! The beds/pillows were very comfortable and the towels were plush and smelled so good! The use of canoes was a plus and we really loved waking up every morning to fish. Would highly recommend staying at the Riverhouse!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at the Riverhouse for our Cooperstown baseball week. We were very comfortable and the homeowners thought of every little detail that we might need throughout the week. I have already recommended this place to several people coming next year.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Riverhouse. Rich and Rain have thought of everything to make your stay one to remember. The house was equipped with all you would ever need. We really enjoyed the game room, kayaks, and had bonfires complete with hotdogs and marshmallows.The fishing was fun as well( just bring your own rods). We were there for baseball and the Dream Park but this turned out to be our dream house! Thanks Rich and Rain!

The Riverhouse will not disappoint. There is not one thing they have forgotten. All you really need to do is bring your clothes. It was BY FAR the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in. The location to Cooperstown Dreams Park was perfect, the screened in back porch was wonderful to hang out on we drank our morning coffee and eat every dinner river front. The air chairs on the porch were relaxing as well as the fire pit and just being able to cast off the dock and catch fish. The house was so clean and everything was new. The game room was great for my teenagers to have some late night fun. The owners were wonderful, they greeted us as soon as we arrived to give us a nice walk through of the home and all of its amenities. I hope we get to visit again. I give it a million stars!

House was very clean and comfortable. All the river toys and games were there waiting for us and it was convenient to get to and from the fields. A home run!
