Riverfront home w/ fireplace, porch, outdoor firepit, grill and picnic table

Clean, had everything we needed. Requires stairs to access. Quiet, but there is a busy road on the opposite side of the river. Gravel driveway runs between house and river but not a busy one. Porch is awesome. Gas fireplace.

Wonderful location right by the river! House was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful the river truly takes the cares of the world away. You will want to sleep on the porch every night.

We love this house and have stayed here several times for spring trout fishing trips! The layout is great for families with older kids and location is unbeatable!

Perfect house on the river!

Beds were comfortable, very important.Good cookware, equally important if you are cooking meals.Being on the river is great. Spacious. Could have used some extra dusting in places. Wasn't crazy about the dirt wall backed up to the house, especially just experiencing hurricane Hellene. A fencing brace or something would ease my mind some. Could use some cleaning bugs away from light fixtures outside. It would have been a nice touch to have some type of Christmas or decor for the season.These are small things but when you pay 1000 you kinda expect above average. Really nice place though.

Loved hearing the river flowing. Quiet & peaceful.

I have stayed at this location a few times. Great fishing spot right in the front yard and easy access to surrounding areas. Always clean and easy to enjoy.

We loved the size of the home and the location. Guest services were great as well. A few things lacking were the appliances and items provided. The refrigerator did not work well at all. There is a note about it when you arrive but we stopped at Ingles on the way in and loaded up on food and drinks for the week so we were unaware that it took so long to cool down. Nothing was cold for at least 24 hours and was never truly ‘cold’. The ice maker took forever to make ice as well. The dryer kept over heating and turning off as well. There were no extra trash bags provided but stated we must bag all trash before putting in can. This is simple yes, but having to purchase a giant box of bags for a week stay shouldn’t be. The floor was quite gross as well. Everything else was pretty clean but the floor definitely has not been cleaned in a while. Guest services did offer to come clean but we just vacuumed it so we weren’t disturbed during our vacation time. They do not state that the driveway is quite steep and the front of our vehicle was torn off trying to back in the first day. These items are an annoyance but if you know before you go, it’s not a big deal. The house was still good and the kids and adults all LOVED the creek and even went tubing down it quite a few times. House is close to other locations such as good hiking, Deep Creek Falls, gem mining, Lake Glenville and more.

We had to move out after the first night. The home was damp and smelled moldy. The registers were coated with blackish dust. We reached out to Vacasa and were told we would be contacted by the Local Team. We have yet to hear from them.

The water view was great just like the pictures

As we were coming up the stairs my husband's foot went through a big hole in the stair that he did not see because he was carrying luggage. They got someone out pretty quickly to check the stair but it was not able to be fixed during our stay. However, they have replaced the banisters around the porch which is nice and was very needed. They could have replaced stairs in the process. When the guy came to try and fix it, it was rotten all the way through. Thank God my husband didn't go through that hole all of the way! The upstairs is so very hot, while the downstairs is cold. Haven't noticed that before so that's why I'm noting it. Also some type of flying bug is nesting near the ceiling above the dining room table. Not good to have insects dropping down into the food and drink when you're eating at the table. We've stayed here several times throughout several years. We love this house that's why we've come back, but it was very lackluster this time. We've always wanted this house because of the river, rocking porch and location. Very easy to get to all of the other places to visit. Nice to have your own private area by the river with the swing, picnic table, fire pit and access to fishing. Not trying to be critical of this house because we love it. That's why we chose it several times. It just needs love. Hoping they get it together and maybe we can stay here again.

Great house and great location for our WCU graduation weekend. Clean, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and spaces. No problems or complaints. Would stay again.

The house and location are absolutely perfect. The only issues that we had were the water has a strong smell of sulfur (from the sinks, toilets, showers, washing machine, etc...). Nothing quick showers and bottled drinking water couldn't remedy. Other than that issue, would 10/10 recommend!

House was perfect for an April fishing trip. Unbelievable location right on the stream and has everything needed. I would recommend and will return.

Right where you want to be if you're a trout fisherman.
