We thoroughly enjoyed our time at your home! The view and sunsets were stunning!!!
You will never find a more beautiful view! Relaxing vacation we enjoyed this home so so much!
Beautiful home& amazing views. The only problem was the hornet nest that the home owner took care of promptly.
The Hawk’ Nest Retreat was amazing. The wife and I were able to kick back and have a relaxing weekend and got to enjoy this beautiful home! The personal touches throughout the home and the amazing views are just the top of the iceberg! We will definitely be back and this is the first time we have wanted to stay longer and not rush back home. Highly recommend!
Clean, beautiful, peaceful and exactly as pictured.
A great experience and a fantastic time!
This house is basically new. It is very clean and well kept. All of the beds are new and very comfortable. The sunsets from the deck are amazing since the deck faces west. The house is well appointed and the kitchen has everything needed for cooking any type meal. The hammock and swing/bed on the ground level outside are a nice touch as well. The owner is excellent. We had to call twice about small issues. He answered both times and took care of our issues immediately. Well done on his part. Two things worth noting about the property. First, the drive from the main two lane road to the house is a little over a mile and it's straight up a one lane road. The reward (getting to the house and the view) are well worth the harrowing drive but no way to get up or down that road with snow, ice, sleet, etc.. Not sure even a 4 wheel drive vehicle would make it. Secondly, the TV's in the house are all new and provide great pictures. However due to the cable situation in western NC they do not get local channels. This means no NBC, ABC, CBS, TBS, etc.. They do get all the ESPN channels but if you want to watch a college or pro football game on one of the major channels you'll be out of luck. We would not hesitate to rent this property again. Very nice new home near Sylva, Cherokee and WCU. Overall a great experience.
Great new home with modern and classic farm style pops throughout. All of the amenities you could need whether it’s a fun home base for surrounding area activities, or for a rained in staycation- we had both while there. The place had an amazing view with a lot of the nice stuff like a hot tub, big fire pit, swings galore (all with a view) + throw blankets, good internet and lots of space for way more than 8 if needed for privacy or spreading out. Every room has a bathroom right there which was really nice! Can confidently say I’ll be back again soon!
Beautiful views in the morning and evening from the deck! Very quiet and secluded. Host was very accommodating!
I loved the cabin layout and amenities for my family. As a below sea level being, I never get use to driving up and down those narrow high roads ?
Property was everything and more. New, clean, beautifully decorated, absolutely amazing views & equipped with everything we needed. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
