This house was the perfect getaway for three older family members and me. No stairs other than two small ones to get in from the patio. That alone was amazing! The house is located up a winding road, tucked off on a dead-end, so we felt very safe. The view is great, and we had quite a few deer come by to visit. It's important to note that there's a Sportsmen's club nearby, so there is random gunfire that echoes through the area while they're open. However, it's not scary, and the sounds were really not intrusive. The house is stocked with coffee, tea, hot cocoa, snacks, and a few other treats I'll let you discover :) Everything was really convenient! There are quite a few restaurants within a 15 min drive (yes to Kelly's & Donna's, no to Hoss's). Also grocery and Walmart and Sheetz if you need provisions. Also the Swigart Museum which is a must-do if you like old cars!Overall we had a great trip, and I'm hoping to come back next year!

This house was the perfect place for my family. The owners thought of everything, down to the detail! It was very clean, super comfortable & had amazing views. The communication was almost immediate every time we had a question. I would recommend this house to anyone & we will definitely be back!

A wooded spot full of relaxing views after a day of fishing on Raystown Lake. The home is very well kept with everything you need and more. The owners next door are quick to respond to any questions. We will be back.

Our son has been involved in research at Juniata College this summer, and we needed a place to visit and celebrate his birthday. Bob and Julie's place was perfect for our family of 6 adults. They are great hosts. They sent communication before our stay and both asked how we were during our stay. We had everything we needed space-wise in the 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room, and living room. It can be hard to find places that can accommodate us! We also enjoyed the extras like snacks, pancake mix, and all the s'mores essentials in the well stocked kitchen. We love outdoor spaces and spent each morning on the covered patio hanging out. The house is close to campus and everywhere else we needed to go. We would definitely stay here on more visits to Juniata!

We wish we could have stayed longer. This home was recently refurbished and beautifully done. It was immaculate to the point where everything seemed brand new including the kitchen and baths. All of the bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds. The family room was cozy with a big window and the kitchen stocked with everything you could need. The dining area was perfect for a family meal. We really appreciated the Keurig selection, teas, hot chocolate, snacks and even eggs, butter and waters in the frig! So many thoughtful touches. We were traveling with my 85- year-old parents so were happy to have no stairs-it would also be great for small kids! Fantastic patio with lights all surrounded by woods in a gorgeous setting. Julie and Bob were very responsive and couldn't have been nicer with any questions. Thank you!! Would give it 6 stars if I could!!
