Luxury Mountain Home near Lake Raystown

My spouse is a Master Craftsman, my Son in law an Architect, and they were both impressed by this home! Custom Cabinets in the kitchen! (Mormon made?) We stay in VRBO homes 2 or 3 times a year, times 15 yesrs. The men of the family felt this was the well best built home, great craftsmanship! The showers were a dream come true! Comfy beds! Welcoming for a family.

All the kitchen house items there was, the host was very responsive and the location was great!

Instructions and directions were well done. Supplies were good, the place was immaculate, and we basically had almost everything we needed.

House was absolutely beautiful and so accommodating for 16 of us. Joe is a superb host too and was so thorough in directions and answering my oh so many questions! If you are ever that way and need a house to stay, this is a great one!!!!!

This was our second year coming back for our annual Friendsgiving. The house was amazing, large enough table for all to gather, kitchen was well stocked, easy to use coffee maker, clean bathrooms, clean beds, and plenty of towels for all. Thanks for opening up your home, we had an amazing time.

Everything was great but the kitchen needs to have refreshed pan set.

Very clean house and we had a relaxing stay. Checkin was easy. Hot Tub, Arcades, & Pool Table were great for the kids. We will be back!

The property is a vacation in and of itself. It’s situated in the mountains with beautiful views. Spacious interior with lots of bedrooms and very large kitchen and outdoor cooking area. We enjoyed the proximity to the lake and spent a beautiful day on a pontoon boat. The host provides clear instruction on getting to the house and check out was a breeze. We highly recommend this place and made memories we will cherish.

We did not know the air conditioner was not working and the house was very hot. Also the drive to the property was a steep gravel road. Unable to bring trailer up. No extra bed linens. Pull out couch mattress was worn out and dirty. Washer and dryer do not work well and make loud screeching. Patio did not have much seating.

Beautiful house. Well stocked kitchen, loads of things i am used to supplying like trash bags, tp, paper towels. Lots of extra amenities, night lights everywhere, so convenient! Host and property manager are super responsive for a couple questions i had. Great house! Highly recommend!

My large family had a great time during our stay! The kids loved all the gaming options, and the adults enjoyed playing those early days video games we grew up with! The house was well put together, with many provided basics like toilet paper and trash bags. We enjoyed using the fire ring as well. The maintenance staff was attentive when we called with a plumbing issue, and did his best to solve other small issues that arose. The owner answered questions quickly.

5 STARS - We had a wonderful stay at this home and really appreciated the owner’s responsiveness and hospitality. Just a couple days before our arrival, a lightning strike knocked out the central AC. Unfortunately, due to the holiday weekend, parts couldn’t be delivered in time for our visit.That said, the owner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, buying and providing multiple portable air conditioning units throughout the house, which kept things cool and pleasant. We were really impressed by how proactive and communicative they were.

Perfect getaway spot for all weather!We had to stay indoors due to chilly rain all weekend, but there was plenty to do!4 thrift stores nearby and lovely dining opportunities.There was plenty to do at the house as well, video games, pool table, and hot tub were all a big hit.

What an amazing stay! Not only was the house and property amazing but the host of the house was incredible! He was very helpful with my millions of questions. It fit 13 of us perfectly with room for some more! Very clean, felt like home. Beautiful view as well!

Beautiful home with inviting living/kitchen space for my friend group to gather and celebrate our Friendsgiving. Hot tub was already turned on and heated up which was nice - there were plenty of towels in the house for everyone - the beds were very comfy with adequate bedding. Only small issues were being dumb and not understanding the kitchen faucet, which was motion sensor! Figured that out eventually. Also had some issues using the ovens. Items weren't being cooked evenly - again could of been us being dumb again. Small details would not prevent us from coming back. We loved our stay and will keep it on our list for next year. We had a very nice time at the lodge. If it had been a few weeks earlier, I’m certain the view off the overlook would have been beautiful with the fall leaves. Overall the listing was as it showed. There were a few miscommunications but everything was resolved well.

We had such an amazing stay. Hosts - The hosts were so helpful and had quick communication for any of our needs or questions we had. The hosts sent us a video to get to the place and it was easy to follow. I had a hard time entering the passcode to get in, completely user error on my part, and they sent out.their maintenance person, and he was there within 10 minutes to help us. The place: The pictures do not do it justice. It is so beautiful so spacious and so accommodating. It is a great place to stay and disconnect, if you want to do that. There is entertainment ( games, arcade, pool table, and pinball machine). They have a swingset for children and a training spot for American Ninja Warrior! We were all discussing planning our next stay here. This is our best stay experience with companies like Vrbo.

Owner very accommodating w/information re: the property. Property was better than advertised and fit our families needs very well. We had 12 people and plenty of beds and bathrooms. Has an ice machine we used for coolers. Because of the size of the home and number of bathrooms, remember to bring your bath soap and hair products. Just a minor bump! Otherwise, great property. We were less than an hour to Penn State which was our primary objective to attend the football game! Would I stay here again?? ABSOLUTELY!!

Awesome property and perfect for a getaway with friends!

This is a hidden gem. Beautiful home for a family getaway. Close to town. Huge yard and playground. All of the amenities you need and everything is brand new. Owner communication was clear and very responsive.

Such a beautiful home with nature everywhere. Perfect for a long holiday weekend to enjoy the lake and river. Ample parking and space for the whole family. Only glitch was the AC was not working but there were portable AC units. We would definitely stay here again
