Quiet oasis minutes from beaches, vineyards and downtown Newport

Our stay was fantastic. This property is exactly what it says it is. A very quiet oasis minutes from everything in Newport. The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed for a great weekend.

Our host met us and was very helpful.Super comfy bed and pillows, very clean house and grounds.Convenient to all the local sights and activities.

Great stay in Middletown! Host was great with communications and was friendly and helpful while we were there. Location provided easy access to Newport and the various tourist activities there, and also was convenient to restaurants and stores as needed locally. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Back yard is beautiful and private if you have time to just relax. Would definitely recommend if traveling to the area.

This was a wonderful spot to stay while visiting Newport. It was close to everything and the owners gave us great suggestions for food and things to do. Wonderful hosts!

location was perfect - close to everything but still far enough away that it was a nice quiet place to chill. Jack and Deb were the best hosts, gave great local recommendations - yoga on the beach, street festival in town, local seafood joint nearby etc. We had a great time and would def stay there again!

Host was easy to get a hold of and very welcoming. Knows the area well, is not just another property owner trying to make money buying houses to rent for vacations. Really good amount of space for 4 people and can fit 5. Very close to Bristol and Newport. Clean rooms and had everything we could need. Thank you!

Convenient to wedding venu

Jack and Deb were exceptionally hospitable and always helpful, making us feel right at home. The accommodations here were beyond comfortable — truly above and beyond our expectations.

My family spent a wonderful week here. The place is well-appointed, carefully maintained, and remarkably clean — it’s clear that the owners care about the house and making sure guests have a comfortable stay. The location is terrific, a short drive from the beach, bird sanctuary, grocery store, etc. The pictures really don’t do justice to the enormous backyard/garden. And Jack couldn’t have been friendlier or more hospitable. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year!

Jack was a great host. The home was clean, cozy, spacious, and comfortable. The yard is beautiful and private. Jack checked in with us a couple of times and gave us recommendations for things to do and restaurants in the area. The area itself is very close to Newport but far enough away from the business. So essentially, it's perfect if that's what you are looking for. We went to two of the local beaches and both were great, soft sand. If I find myself in the area again, I'd consider staying here again.

This is a really great place! The owners (Jack and his wife) live in the house and this 2 br is an addition behind the house. It backs up to a beautiful yard with bird feeders and flowers. Each bedroom had a window AC unit and fan and was very comfortable. Zero complaints! Jack called me prior to my arrival to ensure he was around when we arrived, and checked in that morning. We would all highly recommend this little cute guest house!

Home is a lovely quiet spot away from the bustle of Newport, only a short drive. After busy days of seeing the sites, escape the crowds and relax here. The back porch has a great view of the yard, perfect for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Jack is a terrific host and is happy to provide recommendations for anything you need in the area.

The home worked perfect for our family. Jack was extremely helpful and kind. Very easy to reach if we had any question. The house had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again in ever in the area!

Host called with extra details several days prior to stay then met us at our arrival. The place was very clean and well stocked with necessities. Conveniently located for a variety of activities. Anytime the host saw us he made a point to check in.

So so clean! Jack, our host/home owner, was so kind and thoughtful and gave great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Atlantic Grill was one which I give five stars to!! My sister and I had an awesome time. Exceptional experience!!!

Jack was a gracious host and had a wonderful property. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The kitchen was fully stocked and the grounds were very well maintained and beautiful. We would definitely rent again if it were pet friendly.

It is peaceful and the yard is absolutely beautiful - we really enjoyed our time in the backyard... walking around, sitting on the bench, listening to the birds, and playing Pictionary. Everything you may need is available here, including awesome suggestions for local/nearby excursions from the host! We hope to return to this quiet oasis some day!
