This was our second time here at the Wayward Pelican. Everything was just as great as the first time!! I’ll list all the pros of this place to convince you to book here.•The view of the ocean is amazing!!•plenty of out door furniture to enjoy the view!•the grill is a flat top which makes cooking on the grill easy. And a perk is that it is on the deck so no having to go down stairs where the mosquitos like to hang out.•the one inside is very spacious and open concept. •nice sized kitchen!! Perfect for cooking meals for the whole family!

We absolutely love the house. It was perfect and always and if we go back to Freeport, we will try to rent it again thank y’all for awesome communication.

The house was nicely decorated and good ac feeling inside. The master bedroom is spacious and the view from the balcony was nice.House has everything needed for the kitchen.I love not to many big pieces of living room furniture so it was spacious.

Had a great time celebrating my mom’s 90th birthday. The place was homey and very comfortable. The host was kind and accommodating! We wound stay here again for sure.

Our stay at the wayward pelican was great! The house was beautiful and very clean!!! The rooms were perfect for our family and there was a great amount of space for us! We had 4 adults, two 12 years old and one 2 year old. The ocean view is way better than the pictures they posted! And there is a lot more spacious room Than the pictures showed! So it was even better than expected We will returning!! I will say one thing, they do not have an outdoor shower, however they do have a rinse off hose right by the bottom of the stairs. I love taking outdoor showers at the beach so if there was any complaints it would be that but honestly everything else was perfect and we will still be back! Maybe they will build one on!

We had a fantastic time at this property. Debbie was super responsive and accommodating if/when we had any questions or had any momentary issues. A few helpful tips, especially for families: It's a decent little walk to the main beach if you've got little ones, but there's plenty of parking right next to the beach ramp if you just want to drive down. With this property being at the end of this island, the auto traffic on the actual beach is minimal, which was a big plus for us. The area felt relatively quiet, but not isolated. As is the case on most parts of the island, the internet is pretty hit or miss, so plan accordingly if that's a big need. Debbie had a solid stock of DVDs that got us through the couple humps when the streaming wasn't quite cooperating and we needed to distract the kiddos. They had everything we needed; it was clean, quiet, well-stocked, restful, and a lot of great space. Would absolutely book again. Thanks Debbie!

We had an incredible stay at the beach. The beach was in easy walking distance, and the house provides gorgeous ocean views from the balconies. The house was exactly as described! Absolutely adorable and clean. We had everything we needed. Debbie is an amazing host and made us feel at home from the start. You won't find a better hostess! We can't wait to make more memories in the future!
