Nestled w/in a small enclave of custom homes, our Guesthouse is located on our private home property, a very private country setting of 3.25 acres w/ many trees & bamboo, behind 2 security gates & only 3 minutes from 118 freeway & all major conveniences.

Located 150' from our main house next to the pool, apprx. 750 sf, 1 bedroom w/ King bed, 2 queen air mattresses, 1 futon that can sleep 1 & couch that can sleep 1, living room w/ TV, full bathroom w/ tiled shower, dining area & full kitchen, electric stove, combo MW/convection oven, full-size fridge.

Pet friendly for dogs.

The pool is a very large pool approximately 60' long, 40' wide at the 3' shallow end and 20' wide at the 10' deep end. There is also, a 21' diameter 18 deep kiddie pool.
(*Pools are not heated and usually drained for the winter from October thru May, depending on the weather.)

There are lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun, a pavilion with ping pong table and BOX HOCKEY game.

    The minute we arrived, the kids's lit up when they saw the amazingly large pool. Andy got us checked in and we loved having so many bed options for the kids so they had their own spaces. We were actually working remotely and the wifi worked well enough for 3 of us on laptops and I was able to take meetings next to the pool! This worked perfectly for our needs and was only 5 minutes away from food options.

    I enjoyed my stay immensely. I saw the movie The Biggest Little Farm a year ago, and I always wanted to visit, but then Covid happened. The farm started to have tours again, so I made arrangements to visit Apricot Lane Farms. The guest house was only 20 minutes away from the farm, and these accommodations were perfect for me. Some people prefer hotels, but I prefer rental homes like this one. The property is on the edge of the country and city (Moorpark). There are lots of food places and breweries nearby. Check out Tarantula Hill Brewery for a family-friendly place with decent food and drinks. Andy, the owner, is an awesome person to talk to, but only if you want to have company.
