    Overall, we enjoyed this property. It is literally down the street from the local VONS, which was great given how often we went there. Easy to walk to the pier and boardwalk. From the Catalina Express, it only takes minutes to get to the unit. The unit itself was well appointed and had everything we needed. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, cups, cutlery, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, etc. Negatives that could be improved included dirty floor (could use a good mopping) and linens that need to be replaced with new ones. Shower was amazing. Toilet seat is loose (hated that). Great hair dryer and several fans. Unit does get a bit hot and you have to keep the windows open. Has a thermostat that appears to not function. TV and internet were great. Nice, friendly neighbors. Some idiot lit a major firework around 1AM. Not anyone's fault. But other than that, nice and peaceful. Would we rent this unit again? Absolutely.

    Overall this was a great place. Excellent location, close to grocery store, local vibe, friendly neighbors, lots of cross breeze with the windows open - no need for air-conditioning. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean, but the floors felt like they needed a wipe down. Also, the bathmat looked like it needed replacing. The fan in the larger bathroom was broken (made a very loud terrible noise) but thankfully that bathroom had a window that opened so it helped the steam escape. Lots of hot water, very clean refrigerator, stove, etc. and all the utensils you need for cooking. I wanted to use the floor fan in one of the bedrooms, but it was junked up with dust, so that could use some cleaning (or replacement) but the breeze from the windows did the trick. It's in a family friendly neighborhood, kids playing in the street, so it's a good vibe. I would stay there again. Happy trip!

    We enjoyed our stay here. The house was nice and in a great location—close enough to everything we wanted to see and do. It was comfortable and a much better fit for our family than staying in a hotel. The only drawback was that there weren’t enough sheets and pillows for six people, as listed—there were only enough for four. We called on the first day to request extras, but unfortunately, we didn’t receive them until the morning we were leaving.

    Beautiful property! Open living room, kitchen, dining space with high ceilings felt so spacious. Nice breeze along with fans kept us very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Would definitely recommend this property!

    Our family really enjoyed the property. It's in a quiet neighborhood, vehicles aren't allowed. We were very comfortable, the couch was large, great bedrooms and beds. The location is a bit far from pleasure pier, closer to the golf course. Be aware, the stairs to the unit are steep. We would happily stay there again!

    We went at the end of December and that is a great time to visit the island -- less crowds but most everything is open. The house is an upper floor with nice views of the hills. Loved the quiet street as those golf carts are everywhere and tend to be loud. Amazing communication with the hosts -- very immediate. Beds were comfortable and clean. I would prefer a new sponge in the kitchen sink and the bath towels were old, thin, scratchy and worn. (I only bring up those issues due to the price per night and expectations that we would have better.) I would stay there again, but bring own towels.

    The street is closed to autos, so perfect for familys with kids to run up and down street, ride bikes, or scooters. Many people had outdoor dolding tables in the front of their house on street for bbq dinner. If you had a folding table you could do the same. This house is on a flat and wide street, so.easy to walk around...which is especially nice because many houses on catalina are on steep hills.. It is 1 block from grocery store. The House was on the 2nd floor with a permanent resident below.. house had No AC but it did have 2 fans. It would be nice to have one more fan. Had all things in kitchen for a 3 day trip. Bath towels were a little thin showing there age. Air matress was in closet, but we didnt use it. We also did not see any extra sheets or blanket for it. We had 4 people stay at this location. There was Room for.more if you.wanted to sleep on couch or air matress but there was not any extra sheets or blankets. I liked my stay and would stay here again. I had two adults and to teens.

    Loved the location but wish I did more research on the amenities. No beach towels, chairs/umbrella. No drinking glasses in the kitchen. Kitchen faucet leaked and was difficult to use period. The drinking water faucet was not hooked up. Water is a premium on the island so we reported this immediately but only two plumbers on the island. Bathtub faucet also dripped the entire stay. Some love and care needed in this beach house for certain. The kitchen table was very sticky which alerted me the cleaning wasn’t too thorough.

    The street was nice and quiet and close to the main street, so very walkable. The only tough part was that the downstairs resident was pretty sensitive to the sound of us walking around and came up a couple of times to ask us to keep it down. I get it, I've lived in downstairs apartments before and know how it can be. We took no offense, were apologetic and did our very best best with a 2 and 4 year old. We were REALLY on them about walking carefully and quietly but still had one more visit from the neighbor. Felt pretty helpless to be able to be quiet enough but we still tried to do our best. Something to think about I guess if you have small kids.
