Oceanside cottage with Spectacular views! Ledgeview Cottage.

Great location and oceanfront view! We had a great time staying here and the hosts were responsive and helpful whether it was questions about the house or questions regarding local things to do. We would definitely stay again and we were pleased with our choice to stay here!

We had a wonderful week at Ledgeview. The house was beautiful and the view was amazing. The sunrises were awesome. We had great weather. The hosts Jeff and Jen were very helpful and addressed any questions very quickly. Just what a vacation in Maine should be. Thank you Jeff and Jen for sharing your cottage.

The view was spectacular and the house with all of its amenities, including a “gas fireplace” on the deck, was wonderful!

Stunning views! We enjoyed our stay at the cottage- everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Communication with the owners was excellent. We visited Acadia, the Schoodic point, and Corea (catch your dinner tour was awesome). The cottage has been maintained very well, something you can not say about many rental places. My father was especially amazed by the natural seawall of cobblestones :)

Great spot! What an easy place to wake up and then unwind. I loved drinking my coffee on the front deck. Owners communicated great. Nothing but a positive experience.

We absolutely loved the house! The view was amazing! All the amenities were there and we loved the layout of the house. It was perfect for our family! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful house in a quiet setting!

We loved our time here. The house is very comfortable with everything just as described. We took full advantage of its proximity to Schoodic Point and the recommendations of our hosts. I got the check-out time wrong, leaving later than we should have. They were very gracious with our mistake. We would gladly come back here for a stay; maybe next year!

This property was quiet and made for secluded family nights in after long days spent out exploring, hiking and sightseeing. It was well appointed and we woke up to a tremendous view. We even got to watch lobster boats right from the house.

We had a wonderful stay at Ledgeview cottage! Wonderful remote location away from the business of Bar Harbor but close enough to drive to and very close to Schoodic peninsula. Amazing views of the ocean from almost every room in the house especially the beautiful deck where we would enjoy the sunrise with our coffee and later at night star gazing. There were very nice extras that made our stay especially nice … loved having the binoculars to look out at the ocean as the boats were coming in… even spotted dolphins! Communication with the host was great! Poor WiFi but who cares when you have all that beauty surrounding you. It’s nice to be unplugged anyway! This house had ample living space for our party of 4 and was very clean with cute decor. Could not be happier that we chose this cottage for our first visit to Maine!

Another year here, total relazation

Wonderful location on the Atlantic Ocean. The house was in great shape and very well stocked. It was everything that I thought the coast of Maine would be. Communication with Jen and Jeff was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

This cottage offers everything one could desire for a relaxing Maine getaway experience. The ocean front views from the living room, dining room, and master bedroom sitting area were fantastic. The deck was an ideal spot to watch the sunrise, a lobster boat pulling traps, or sip a glass of wine listening to the surf. Jeff and Jen were fantastic hosts, offering helpful info on local restaurants, markets, and activities. You won’t be disappointed staying at Ledgeview cottage.

The property was excellent, very clean and perfect for our group. Great access to the Schoodic Peninsula, Desert Island and the northern Maine coast. We had great weather with clear shy which allowed us to turn down the house light and watch the Milky Way over the Atlantic.

We were visiting Maine for the first time and wanted to experience it all: crashing waves on the rocks, beautiful scenery, lobster boats and fresh lobster. We also wanted to relax and your house was wonderful. Oceanfront, secluded and quiet while also being close to Arcadia, Bar Harbor and many nice little towns to explore. Perfect for us and just as described.

The property was as described. It was very clean. The rocks were challenging for us older ones, but the younger ones enjoyed them. It had general pots and pans and very few staples for cooking. Plan accordingly. The biggest issue for me was that it had no dishwasher. I struggle with the proper sanitation of utensils. There were not so many toys for the littles. We had zero Wi-Fi. Reception was spotty, but that was okay for us. We brought games and entertainment, but one needs to plan accordingly. We drove to Bar Harbor and Acadia; Both were a nightmare for too many folks. We thoroughly enjoyed the loop and getting out to look at Schoodic. It was enjoyable; we never saw anything but seagulls, which was probably seasonal. Overall, the place was adequate, and we saw what we wanted nearby.

Took my 80 year old mother on a little trip. The large bedroom on the first floor was a bonus, did not have to negotiate extra stairs once inside. The porch was wonderful. Loved the quiet location. Took the ferry to Bar Harbor it was worth every penny. WIFI was a challenge but we did not care about access.

Born and raised in the Deep South the only idea of what the North East /Maine coast would be like was from what I seen on tv & movies. I knew it would be hard to find a place that would measure up to the perfection I had seen on screen but this house not only measured up, it far exceed what I was hoping for. The house, the landscaping, the town, the home owners, everything was perfect! I knew my husband and I would enjoy the secluded and quiet space but I was worried my 6 year old would get bored but even he absolutely loved running through the house and watching the boats come and go. This rental was everything we could have wished for and more & we hope to make it back up to stay again.

5/5, pics do not do this property justice. Quiet, peaceful, and stunningly beautiful views. Hosts were excellent, provided lots of helpful tips for navigating Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and other nearby areas. 100% recommend.

The house had beautiful views. It was fun watching the fog roll in and on clear days watching the lobster boats. The shore line was fun to look for treasures. The kitchen was set up with everything you could need to cook, the ga grill was a plus. The long private road in was good for my XC runner kids to get their workouts in. We enjoyed the peaceful setting away from Bar Harbor and Acadia but easy to get there for our outings. Lots of things to do on the Schoodic Peninsula also. Definitely would come stay here if in there area again. We enjoyed our week.
